Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen should seriously just go and play a character that isn't just an exaggerated version of him. The only slightly good thing he's done is Red Dawn.

Also: Jerry Springer, yes we like to feel better than people, but seriously, the people who go on there are just getting more annoying then entertaining.

"Grey's Anatomy" : My wife made me watch the first episode of that. It was about the most painful experience i've ever had with a tv show. Can't believe how popular it is among the female set. It's terrible.

"CSI/Law and Order/NCIS/Trashy Cop show": seriously. I don't get them. I just don't. "Law and Order" has a bit more class then CSI, and has been at it for years now, but...Enough is enough already. I am sick of Cop shows. Sick of them. Just stop. I hate reality shows too, but Investigative crime shows are just...UGH.

Never mind the buzzcocks. Simon Amstell is a mousy wee shitbag. I saw him in the street once, he wasn't even worth my effort to stop him and get an autograph.

Seinfeld: it was NEVER funny.

The Office(US): how do you take a show that was twelve episodes in the UK and stretch it out to four years. Do these documentary makers really need that much footage?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: It's amazing that you can take a b-movie concept and make it worse.

Desperate Housewives: It's very hard to market "sexy" old women to a young demographic

Any American cartoon that thinks it's anime: I hate catering to weeaboos and I don't mind mimicking the art style of manga, I hate trying to import Japanese pop-culture and style and thinking that it works in the States.

Scrubs, after season 4.
I'm inclined to disagree. Season 5 was highly praised and enjoyed (including by me) and I felt the only real bad season was the 7th. Have you watched season 8? It's very good and felt like a return to form from the earlier seasons.

Agreed that the earlier ones are very good though.

Hey, even crappy actors need a paycheck. :)
Yep. By working proper jobs.

Big Brother should have been strangled at birth. It's a truly disgusting format. Doesn't even try to disguise it's Orwellian jollies.
And it spawned even worse imitators. Ones that can't even use the 'it's a social experiment' ruse with a shred of credibility.

EDIT: I used the word 'even' far too much in this post..

Family guy, permanently...
Seth McFarlane is a loathsome hack who understands very little about character development, dialogue, and plot progression. It seems like most episodes nowadays are just about some sort of socio-political opinion that Seth holds. Humor should be the primary focus, not just trying to be shocking. Personally I have no problem with the show, it just feels like it's trying too hard. Flanderization really took effect in the last few seasons, and it makes the characters seem stale and one note.
Also, why all the Meg bashing?
It makes absolutely no sense in any context, and has never really made me laugh.
Can anyone here explain why they even bother with Meg, if their too dense to figure out how to write a teeenage girl?
It's not hard, Joss Wheadon could do it decently enough.

Family Guy.
I've gotten tired of Family Guy as well. The pre-cancellation stuff is still hilarious, but things just got stupid after they came back. Don't even get me started on Blue Harvest.

I also think Lost needs to just wrap things up. I haven't been that much of a follower of the show, but it seems like they should've kept the show shorter.

Even How I Met Your Mother?! I don't like most sitcoms with a laugh track but this one...I love it!

Anything involving Vampires and some twisted love story, the last thing i need is twilight in soap opera form, i already have a 15 year old sister telling me to read the book.

Heroes after the first season. It was awesome, except the season finale. Season 2 was somewhere between meh and okay, while season 3 was horrid crap.

Prison Break, also after the first season. Again, the first season was really great, the second season was reeeaally stretching it already. They should've concluded the series there.

House after season 4 or so. The previous season was already pretty dull. Each episode was just guessing how many iterations of "I knew you'd do that, so I ..." there was going to be. However, the first episode of season 6 was pretty good, so if the style changes a bit I'm not quite ready to bury it yet.
