Scrubs (But I wouldn't have wanted season 9 to continue)
I'm not a massive follower of series so I can't think of much more.

Edit: Forgot the most important one; Blackadder!
blackadder shouldnt have continued, that ending was probably the best possible
TBH I quite liked the film, but I see where you're coming from

Again, people here seem to have only seen the final series of Blackadder -.-
The war series was only 1 series, and they did 4 series set in different historical periods. They could have left the war one there, because it was amazing and so was the ending. It doesn't mean the whole crew couldn't have done another series set in a different time period.

Don't think this was mentioned earlier so I went on wiki to check the series existed

John Doe

Great storyline - the main character has amnesia so remebers nothing about himself but a by product is when it comes to all other knowledge he's a walking wikipedia, he ends up helping the police to solve crimes and becomes rich on the stockmarket at the same time

awesome show that got cancelled so there was this half assed reveal at the final episode and then an interview with the creators who said if you take all the clues you can figure out what was happening

Im pretty sure that the main actor made a quote afterwards that equated to "even im not sure what was going on"

Most of these have been said many times already, but Firefly, Angel, Dead Like Me, Stargates SG-1 or Atlantis (like most people, I thought Universe was Sci-Fi's attempt to keep the BSG crowd, and it was horrendous), Arrested Development, and Greg the Bunny. Fox has a very bad habit of screwing over a show's time slot to a ridiculous degree, so it ends up with bad ratings cause the people who want to watch it can't ever find it. A bunch of friends and I want to win the lotto so we can make our own network, with the sole purpose of continuing great series after Fox or Sci-Fi (I refuse to use their idiotic name-change) cancels them/screws them over.

Oh god, this. I don't understand why they cancelled it, it was such an awesome show!

Firefly, obviously, but one that I really loved that ended up getting canceled was Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. That was such a great show, but it was too smart for people.

Probably because G4 is the most anti-gaming network on the planet. They keep X-Play and Attack of the Show around because for the former they get to maintain some video gamer image, and for the latter that one's pretty marginal video gamery? Nah, couldn't be that. I mean why wouldn't gamers want a satire/parody of what is mostly seen as the "glory days"?

Arrested Development and Whose Line is it Anyway have to be the top in my book. These shows were just too good for their time, and just now they are becoming really popular. The critics always raved about these shows, but due to poor marketing (and more popular shows in the same timeslot), they were shelved. I would really like to see a return for these two shows.
Especially the British version. Tony Slaughterie was great

This has probably been said to death already, but Firefly. I still re-watch that show from time to time... :<

Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The most consistently funny show I've ever seen. Costs almost nothing to produce outside the actors' salary and the cost of the props.

Eh, I like those shows. The last I heard about Code Monkeys was that it was in production hell because it had to deal with the creator since he was directing and helping with the writing, but who knows. All I know is that it's not there anymore... :(

Arrested Development.

It just needed one more season to do it justice...

Off/On topic:

Shows that SHOULD have been cancelled: 24.

Not because I don't like it but because I do... or did. Before it took the path it did.

Actually even more so with Lost, that was such a good shot, but boy the way it ended. It would have been better if they all suddenly died and the show was just cancelled. JJ Abrams just cannot do payoff properly.
