Sick of modern warfare 2?

Is anyone else getting sick of MW2? Everytime I sign into xbl and check my friends list 99% of them are still playing it. A couple are like 6th prestige and I don't understand it. I played it when it came out and i liked it but all my friends are all talking about how its the best game out there. Am I the only one like this?

I got Bad Company 2. It's a great alternative. I played MW2 the other day and just racked up kills on retards. 22-4 in Hardcore? Ya, the game is too easy. Often in BC2, you never know what's going to happen, especially in Conquest mode.

In my opinion, most everything about the game is brilliant, except the online multiplayer.

I personally loved the campaign, with all its set pieces and epic moments. Spec Ops is pretty good, not exactly my cup of tea though, with the insane difficulty. Splitscreen multiplayer is an absolute blast, it seems like the major flaws with killstreaks, overpowered weapons and tactics, etc. just disappear.

Online multiplayer, though, is terrible. People take it all way too seriously, abusing the most cheap tactics to get a high score, then bragging about it in the post-game lobby. People don't cooperate, they complain about everything, and it's just terrible.

The campaign of MW2 was much more 'action movie cliché' than the first Modern Warfare. The first was much better in my opinion, the second was more or less completely predictable and didn't include anything that the first didn't already do. Not to mention they overplayed the dying aspect way too much. It was cool the first time because it was the first time. Doing it every other level is just annoying if nothing else.

And even then, this is just in the rather generic FPS war game genre, in which most campaigns could be replaced with each other and few would notice. There is a multitude of other games that blow MW2's single-player right out of the water.
