It's pretty much accepted that MW2 is a steaming pile of shit that does only bad things to the gaming industry.

Polite Disagreement: The Single-Player experience is still one of the best in the biz, albeit short.

And nonsensical, but who am I to complain? I enjoyed it all the same.

I'm bored of Modern Warfare 2, not sick of it. I get annoyed when people abuse the game, but I only ever rage-quit when I'm too bored to try and fix my negative K/D. There's just nothing to do anymore.

The only thing that could rescue the game for me would be an 18 Player C4 FFA on Rust. Imagine the lulz.

I don't know why, but I can't get myself to hate the game. I still play it regularly, I love experimenting with weapon loadouts, hunting down other players, sometimes I even enjoy the chatter by other players (especially from my fellow Dutchmen, who are often so laughably stereotypical). Yes, I enjoy looking at rewards and enjoy hunting for them, for me that's part of the online experience, not an annoying drudge. Sure, the game isn't balanced and there are plenty of annoying fucks running around, but I'm not to bothered by that (thank God PSN has far less screaming kids).

Usually I don't like either shooters or online multiplayer, but for MW2 I'll happily make an exception. I know it's fashionable to hate MW2, but I won't take the bait.

So what if it doesn't live up to my quality standards, I still have fun.

I think this is why most people thing MW2 was a bad game. They didn't understand the story.

And they didn't understand the story because the game had the most awful narrative I've ever seen in a game.

My only real complaint with the game is how average it is in every single way. I mean of all the FPS games why was this the one to take off? I've played billions of identical games that never took off the same way.

First of all, if you're sick of MW2 then stop making threads about it.
Secondly, yes, I am sick of MW2 and cannot for the life of me understand why people think it is so good. I've played single player, multi player and spec ops and in my opinion they are only average.

Occasionally get sent an invite to play by people on my friends list and get sick of it after 1 or 2 games. It's just so dumb and unbalanced - they didn't think anything out while making it.

And christ, they STILL didn't improve the servers after the poor connection in the last two games

I'm not sick of it at all. The campaign was visceral and exciting, the underlying story (though not told too well) was brilliant, and the multiplayer is...

Is anyone else getting sick of MW2? Everytime I sign into xbl and check my friends list 99% of them are still playing it. A couple are like 6th prestige and I don't understand it. I played it when it came out and i liked it but all my friends are all talking about how its the best game out there. Am I the only one like this?

the game was overhyped and became unbalanced. it isn't a bad shooter but it isn't as cod 4 and other shooter. there were many flaws and i can't undersand people who say it is the best gamer ever. cause it isn't.

I prefer the Battlefield series myself and after seeing the next MoH I most likely never touch the multiplayer(except the zombie modes) ever again.
