sick of next-gen graphics being to gray!

If we could produced my game idea (check it out in the if you could make a games thread ^^)
basically its you being a forest critter sacrificing people to god or the devil going on a crusade to either cleanse or destroy the world (the world is a small town next to the forest due to the critters low geograpichal skills) now it would be a jolly colorfull adventure filled up all the colors of the spectrum thingy (like red (lots of red(like a lot of blood (like A LOOOOOOT))) colorfull guns and executions it would be great in my opinion^^. now the fact that every game in the world these days are kinda gray... i think it because we are obsessed with our doom (like in gears of war2, or fallout3)

Some games like Fallout 3 would seem to have an excuse for looking like dirt due to the nuclear apocalypse and all, but even places, like Tenpenny Tower, still aren't that colorful.

It doesn't even make sense for Fallout, as 200 years is ample time for trees to regrow.

To defend the game on the tree thingy. It would be hard for the trees to grow i the heavy debris but other than this the land is basically radioactive as hell. all the water is bad and there are alot of clouds blocking out the sun.
