Luigi to Mario as always, and Obi-Wan > Luke.

I forgot about Obi Wan> Luke. With that said, almost everyone in Star Wars was cooler than Luke.

Richard Alpert in LOST.
Always secondary to either Benjamin Linus or John Locke. Always just... so interesting. Every single appearance he has, even when jumping around the timeline- he's always the same age, or looks the same.

And you always want to know why. It's so mysterious. Even Locke asks Ben at one point, "how long has Richard been on this island?" and Ben just replies, "awhile..."

Some think that he's just Jacob's eternal lackey or something... but it hasn't been explicitly said or explained by anyone. But he's just as mysterious as Jacob- since we don't even know who he is- other than that he appears all over the place in all timelines and seems to know.... everything.

I definitely think he's going to become a much bigger player in series 6. He got a fair amount more screen time in 5 though. I'm not sure whether I prefer him over Ben though - I've hated Ben; I've sympathised with him; I've understoon his actions and totally misunderstood them; I've even nearly liked him (but only very briefly).

I think his last scene in series 5 is when I've felt truly sorry for him though.

I'm going out of my mind waiting for this final series. It's truly the best thing I've ever watched: fantastic scripts, stories, characters, actors, production values - everything.

Severus Snape is better than Harry Potter (his story is more compelling and intriguing than Harry's, which sadly, is a little predictable.
The Boss is better than Naked Snake (This is a tough one to explain, play MGS3 and I think you'll understand where I'm going with it.)
