As you may already know, i hate the multiplayer on Bioshock 2, or rather, despise it for the rotten bag of **** that it is, but sadly, someone on 2K had the brilliant idea of putting achivments for getting to level 40. And if you have played the MP on BS2, you know how frustrating it can be. So im thinking of betraying all my normal morals and.....Boost. Now, don´t get me wrong, im not the guy who boosts to get an advantage over other players, no. The second i hit level 40, im done. Never playing this again. Trading it in for Heavy Rain. So, what im asking is, should i boost or just give up and trade it in in defeat? Give me a reason for both please, im so conflicted.

Well, if you give up, you get Heavy Rain much sooner. But if you boost, you get an achievement that looks good on your profile :D

Is that okay? D: Good luck with your dilemma anyways.

Why waste your time and "betray all your normal morals" for an achievement?

There is no reason to cheat/exploit just to get an achievement. I don't care about Trophies(since I only have a PS3) but doesn't it cheapen it if, instead of genuinely earning it, you take these kind of shortcuts?

Don't boost, if all you care about is achievements/trophy's, then you are playing the game for the wrong reasons. Play it because you enjoy it and because you want to play it, not because you want an increase in the number under your name.

Also the reason I stopped playing MW2. It took me a few weeks to realize that while playing online I wasn't actually having any fun. So I quit and haven't looked back.

Time is precious, don't waste it on something you don't enjoy. Boosting is for douches anyway.

Why do you need to get an achievement by doing something you don't enjoy?
I thought gaming was supposed to be fun, and if you're not having fun, you're not doing it right.

Ultimately, no one cares about your E-peen.

If you're going to do all that just for an achievement then you should be shot with the turret your attempting to hack. (in game that is)

Which is why all the other boosters do it.
No skin off my back in any case, but I'd have to say you're getting awfully close to being a hypocrite.

So you're gonan spend a lot of time boosting, and not ejoying yourself, to grind your way up, for the sole sake of an achievment in a game you're gonna trade in?

You know you could just spend that time playing something you'd actually like right?

You would honestly consider wasting your time, doing something you dislike, and betraying your morals for an achievement? An arbitrary badge of honour, that frankly nobody really cares about, and that lacks any value whatsoever...

I don't understand how you can call your position a dilemma; the 'solution' seems obvious to me.
