Title sums it up perfectly.

First Sign: Hold everything you see in front of your eyes as if you're playing an FPS game

Second Sign: You see dialog trees a' la Mass Effect whenever you are talking to someone.

Third Sign: Depending on game you play, you feel as if the Heads up Display is burned in your retinas and you can see it whenever you walk around.

Fourth Sign: Looking at the corner of your vision to check the time.

Fifth Sign: You see Achievement Unlocked or You Earned a Trophy when you do something epic or extremely stupid.

Anyone else has any signs of playing too many video games?

I try and combine my daily life with Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 2.

*Hmm, I'm getting kind of hungry.*

>make sandwich
>get mom to make sandwich

*I guess I'll just make one myself.*

When i still played WoW i once rated the stuff in my room from Uncommon to Epic

But ... You might want to stop playing for awhile, if the games already gave you 5 signs which indicate you're playing to much =P

After playing lots and lots of Mass Effect 2 when it was first released, I started seeing health, barrier, shield and armour meters above people's heads, and interact icons over things like the tv remote and food.

I once played Bioshock too much, and started seeing healthbars when looking directly at someone

Starting to glance nervously up and left to check on your health/mana/fatigue. (Waaaay too much Oblivion when it came out, and that's the most obvious sign I've seen.)

I've been playing borderlands a lot lately, and the other day I was driving and I heard a sound outside my car that resembled the noise an attacking Rakk makes. Instinctively I checked the skies to avoid the thrashing.

Anyways, Ive decided to stop playing for a while.

You attempt to open any sort of box or packaging by smacking it with a crowbar.

When you and someone else are preparing for a trip, you tell the other person that you should handle the packing. When asked why, you tell them "I've played Tetris."

While driving, you throw a banana peel out the window to deal with that asshole who's been tailgating behind your car for the last five miles.

Instead of using steroids, you eat red mushrooms.

After playing way too much Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age I went out for a while. A short lady passes me by.

Me(thinking): "Boy, for an elf she sure isn't that pretty." *reaches for invisible options button*

Sitting on the couch and deciding to go make a sandwich when you realize you don't in fact have a portal gun and have to walk to the kitchen.

Anything with the soundtrack... The number of game soundtracks that are permanently burned into my head, it is truly... scary.

After playing WAAAAY too much Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I started seeing Nirnroot whilst walking outside and one time almost ran over to collect it!

For those who don't know, Nirnroot is a turquoise coloured plant in the game Oblivion. It is very rare and there is a quest which involves collecting them. Of course whenever I see that unique colour in the game I instantly rush over to grab it. Doesn't quite work the same in real life :(

Anytime I play Fallout 3, the next day when I go out for a walk; whenever I see a fire hydrant or drinking fountain I think, "Awesome, now I can recharge my health!"
