Ditto. I think I've only played a few movie tie in games that I really liked, and one of those was just a colourful platformer, which was almost impossible to screw up.Patrick Dare said:I automatically assume these games suck.badgersprite said:"It's a tie in to a movie/TV series."

That game was actually really good. I hate all movie games except that one.badgersprite said:"It's a tie in to a movie/TV series."

Post from here (for those who havent seen): http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.250088-New-Parasite-Eve-Has-Plot-Tweaked-to-Include-Shower-Scene-FanserviceLogan Westbrook said:The 3rd Birthday, the third game in the Parasite Eve series, has had its plot tweaked to include a scene where lead character Aya Brea takes a shower, following overwhelming pressure from fans to include one.
The demands for a shower scene aren't completely random, as the last Parasite Eve game, Parasite Eve 2 had a short cinematic where Aya showered in her motel room after a long drive through the desert. When asked on Twitter back in August about whether The 3rd Birthday would include a similar scene, director Hajime Tabata said that it wouldn't, because there wasn't anywhere in the game for such a scene to go.
But motivated by countless tweets from fans, Tabata managed to find - or make - a place for a shower scene to go, even tweeting a still from it on the game's official Twitter [http://twitter.com/#!/3rd_birthday/status/12921625389305856 ] feed.
Well in Persona 4 the character Kanji's sexuality is ambiguous. It never flat out says that he is gay or bisexual in the English version of the game but his story pretty strongly suggests it, but the developer has said that Kanji is gayradioactive lemur said:Different sexuality? Are there even any games with an openly homosexual protagonist? I can't think of a single one.KefkaCultist said:Well theres people that wont play a game because a character has a different sexuallatiy (note: I am not of that group)
I can't really think of silly reasons for not playing a game since I'll try any game once then tell you how I like it, hell I tried NHL 10 even though I abhor sports games and actually liked it
That doesn't sound like a silly reason to me. Music, and sound in general, is a big factor in setting the tone of a game and helps create the atmosphere. Halo for example, if you ask me, was changed from being a smooth but otherwise not very special Doom-ish (yes, I said it, it's a lot closer to that than the rain of CoD-like games) shooter to an epic battle against superior forces mostly thanks to it's outstanding music.MiracleOfSound said:I don't want to play Bayonetta because I don't like the music.
Silly indeed because that game is damn good.badgersprite said:"It's a tie in to a movie/TV series."

I never got that explanation, "it's just the way I am." It's not like people are set in stone or anything, can't change or learn.RobotNinja said:I refuse to play Halo and CoD because they're so popular. I know its silly, but that's just the way I am.
But haven't I read that you enjoy the Persona games. They're on the PS2.Onyx Oblivion said:I won't play MGS4 because I'm not willing to play MGS2 and 3, because they are on the PS2.
