Randy opens his can with his knife. The blade pierces the metal like it's paper.

Day One Starts Now!

the "creek" was probably just the 10 foot-in-diameter hole in the ground that carried six bottles of water and was shoddily painted blue.

See? Also, jad, you can boil water in the bottle as long as you're careful.

Eric sighed.

"All right, how many bottles do I need to boil?"

Sorry, I didn't know you could boil water in water bottles.

"We sould boil them all, just to be safe. That voice seems like it's trying to screw with us and I don't want to take any chances."

 

[MasterSqueak]

"Alright. Boiling water in a plastic bottle takes caution though, so I'm only doing one at a time."

He plucked out a bottle and went to work.

"Alright, I will get the beans ready"

Randy quickly opens the top of the other two cans with his knife

well damn it all i missed 3 and a half pages i'll see what i can do about figuring out what ever

Mike was sitting in the clearing reading his book not really paying attention to anything going on around him. Finally looking up he saw the rest of the people making a fire, poorly at that, and one o them put a bottle of water over the fire.

"Well damn none of you know how to make a proper fire, that'll never last through the night. Lemme go find some wood that will actually burn properly." Mike got up and walked off before any of them had a chance to react to him.

Randy turned his head and noticed another guy sitting under a tree.

"Holy crap, where did you come from?!?" he exclaimed

Turning back to his work, Randy carfully make two small holes near the top of the cans. Then taking two equal sized branches he carves notches on the branches tops. Then he treads a small stick through the cans holes and rests the branch on top ofthe sticks.

The cans and their contents are cooking over the fire.

 

[Ramthundar]

"Hmmm, wonder if there's some wood or anything to start a fire with." Dave said, continuing his search. "Maybe that Priest found something interesting?" he thought, looking down the clearing the priest took.

"Beans will be ready in another couple minutes" he calls out

I assume that your in the woods scavenging for stuff? hope you are so i don't have to edit my post

Mike ignored what the one guy said to him and walked into the woods looking or decent wood for a good fire. Then he saw someone else probably doing the same thing, he quickly took out his Karambit knife and cut his arm a little before approaching him.

"Hey you out here looking for wood? If you are then excellent those other guys don't know how to make a good fire, and uhh well I knicked my arm you have anything I can tie cover it with? My name is Mike by the way."

"How do we divy up the beans? And i didn't bring a spoon or plate. . . Did any one?"

"Ummm, mabe we could use our knives and whittle spoons. As for the diving up, there seems to be enough beans for everyone to eat half a can"

"Oh, hello there, name's Dave. Here, you can use some of my shirt."
Dave ripped a part of his shirt off, enought to tie Mike's wound.
"And yah, just looking for some wood. Do you happen to have anything I could use to cut some of this wood?"

Well, I was just outside the house, but it's okay. I posted before realizing I was several pages behind. I'll just go catch up now...

"Nope but you wouldn't want to cut wood off a tree anyway the moisture in it would be too much and any tinder would be wasted drying it out enough to burn, look on the ground for hard woods they burn the longest and hottest."

 

[Ramthundar]

"Alrighty then, you seem to know what your doing." Dave said, giving Mike a charming smile before looking for wood. "But no worries bout wet wood, yah hear?" he said, pulling out his Magnesium fire-lighter. "This baby can light up a drowned sponge, so some moist wood should be no problem."

 

[SimpleChimp]

"You know the chick back there" Robert said pointing over his shoulder at the blown out wall, "She is a crazy drug addict, she had some weird ass crimson liquid, and a dirty needle full of god knows what. I think we are safe out here than we are in there. . ."

Robert looks around, "But i'm still curious about what was behind those doors . . . " he lets the sentence linger.

"Trust me on this the right moisture content will change how long it burns" Then Mike spotted a large log on the ground "Hey help me carry this back to everyone its almost perfect, and one guy has an axe."
