Steps to losing your sanity? I can't remember how or when i went insane but i've been trying to get back for years now.

I nearly went insane today when I found out that my friend has lived a full 17 years without having ever heard of Iron Maiden.

Try proving to someone that your sane, anyone. It's not physically possible if people are looking for reasons to label you as insane. There are so many forms of insane that inane day to day things can make you go insane. Like for instance walking into a room and forgetting why, or as I do a lot, calling someone on the phone while doing something else and then forgetting why. I am actually insane though so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.

This is actually pretty funny to imagine.

hearing any sound at a very low volume for a very long time is probably enough to drive anyone insane. especially if that sound is repetitive.

I don't think 10 minutes is enough and also I have other mental stimulation, if you stuck me in chains in a pitch black room and then played this then yes I would go mad

Went through a mild shock-amusement when I couldn't work out if you made a funny or not....

I don't see what's funny about a device that made men run to the hills in terror. There's nothing funny about that. Absolutely nothing.

Well it was usually reserved for Invaders, or Killers and the odd Prowler or two. The Prisoner was dead pretty quickly, although occasional Deja Vu was recorded.

Besides it was all done For The Greater Good Of God anyway.

...really the best way to go insane is to avoid human contact for as long as possible and then be forced back into society.

think about that you've spent the last 6 months with little or no human contact doing whatever you can to pass the time when boom! now you have to be in an office meeting wearing an uncomfortable suit listening to some asshole tell you what to do.

try to think how you visual things i know its the brain that does it but when i try work it out i get a headache and light nausea it prolly doesn't help that i try to visualize something while i work this out.
