The fresh padawans were no match for the will of the Sith as Joshua and his squad moved through the living quarters. The lights had been taken out and this worked to their advantage as they moved through the rooms vibroswords drawn as to not make any noise. Throats were slit quietly as the group split up and moved through blood pouring on the floor.

As Joshua grabbed one a gagging sound emitted from the being and Josh heard a hiss behind him. He threw the being at the source of the sound and looked as a scared apprentice looked at him, "Do not come any closer," the shaking man said, raising his light saber, seeing the corpse beside him. Joshua smiled, finally he could test his blade against a lightsaber. He raised his sword and lightly tapped the lightsaber. The apprentice struck in panic, and Joshua barely dodged the oncoming blow, diving to the side, his own blade flashing as he swung at the young man, blades clashing. The apprentice was gaining the upper hand using both his hands to push the blade closer to Joshua's throat. Joshua dropped one hand from his blade and twisted the sword back towards the apprentice. While the man parried this Joshua drew his blaster and shot the man point blank, and he dropped without a sound.

Joshua picked up the dead man't lightsaber, it would be a gift to Corruptus and he hoped to gain favour.

Red sabers flashing, Malus made his way into the central building. He was fast on the tail of a retreating apprentice, but fell into a trap set by a collection of young Jedi. As he entered the door a blue saber dropped infront of his face, his reaction speed was just enough to save his head, but not enough to save his three central horns. As the blue blade washed over his horns, a horrible pan washed over his body. He could feel the three disks of bone that used to be his horns, three perfect circles between his last two remaining horns. With the pain came a great rage, and he darted foreword with a speed and power unknown before. An unrelenting river of red saber blades struck from every possible angle in a speed heightened by his hate. the three young apprentices chose the wrong soul to try and ambush. Little was left of the three jedi hopefuls as Malus unrelentlessly tore apart there bodies.

A master entered the room to see his apprentice and the other two hacked to pieces.

"You monster!" He screamed throwing a statue at Malus. The statue was torn into pieces by the constant red blur, as violet eyes set upon the master.

A gutteral growl was heard as the Zabrak charged towards the Twi'Lek.

Malus' sweeping light sabers did not even try for a kill, instead they focused on the master hilt, severing fingers and the light sabers core in an instant. As the twi'lek fell back in pain, Malus dropped his saber and begin to strike the Jedi with his fists and forehead, crushing the poor twi-lek's skull with unrelenting head butts designed to hammer the now missing horns into the Jedi's nasal cavity.

Streams of blood fell from Malus' head onto the bloody mass that was the twi'lek's face. Malus detected movement behind himself, whipped up and force threw the body into a collection of storm troopers.

He pulled his sabers to him using the force and quickly cut down the soldiers.

His battle rage seemed to wash over him and obscure his lines of loyalty. Any person that got in his way became a target and these stunned soldier's chose the wrong sith to try and aide.

Corruptus calmly entered the room as Malus finished off the last of the troopers. As the Dark Lord strode forward, his pupil turned to face him and in his blind rage, continued the perfect flow of his two lightsabers, one at his Master's right temple, the other at his left flank. It was the best dual blade attack Corruptus had ever seen. But Corruptus was better than most with his one blade.

Moving too fast to see, Corruptus' single blade made an arc which caught the blade coming for his flank and carried it right up over his own head to block the blade coming for his temple. He looked uner the three locked blades into his Apprentice's eyes as realisation dawned in them, his own face still perfectly calm, even peaceful. When he spoke, his voice was equally calm.

"Caution, my Apprentice. Take care whom you attack."

Malus' lasers drew back into his hilt.

"Sorry Master" He said dropping to one knee, "Have the jedi defenses been fully destroyed?"

His violet eyes were cast to the floor as he spoke. Not only had he attacked his master, but his master easily blocked his sabers with a single move.

Ahriman approached Corruptus and Malus. He cast his eye over the troopers, there was nothing that could be done for them. The Vapaad's wounds however were much easier.

"Malus, do you require healing?" Ahriman asked.

"A moment alone, please, Ahriman."

Corruptus looked back down at his Apprentice.

"Rise."

When Malus stood, he kept his head bowed.

"I will again take the opportunity, as I always have, to impart wisdom to you. This serves to teach you two lessons. One I have already explained, to be careful of whom you attack. The other: never assume that because you wield two blades with power and speed you are always at an advantage. Every style has it's weaknesses, and can be defended and attacked against by those who are skilled and seasoned."

"I understand, Master."

"Good. Now, to answer your question, no, there are still many victims for us to enjoy. Come."

With that, the Lord turned and walked from the room, brandishing his dark, silent blade, ready for another fight.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Vaapad's a style, he is a zabrak. . . Wow i am a nerd.

"I do not need to be healed. I failed to stay vigilant and i paid for it." He pushed beyond the sith back into the battle field.

I dash towards a group of jedi and draw my blasters. They see me coming and draw their blades. I fire on them but they block it and it rebounds at me. I dive to the side and fire at them again but one of them grabs me with the force and pulls me towards his blade. "Damn." I say as i use the last moment to swing my hand up and parry with my own arm. As the blood spatters across his face and blinds him I shoot with my good arm and hit him right between the eyes. Suddenly I am kicked in the ribs by another jedi and I roll to the side. I get up to find that both of my guns are at the jedi's feet. "You jedi always have to make things difficult." and then suddenly I am lunging towards him faster than he expected and I slide under him and kick upwards at his chest. I draw my gun and shoot him in the heart while he is stunned. "Damn it, Medic!" I call as i start to feel woozy. (Shit he hit the bone)I think to myself as I look at the arm that is half way cutoff. Then I pass out from blood loss.

As the group of soldiers turn the corner into the next room, they find themselves faced with an awesome sight.

A group of six Jedi masters are surrounding a single Sith Lord. Suddenly two blades flair into life and the single Sith has split into four entities. The first Master falls as he is cleaved in two by a stroke that entered his body at the hip traveling diagonally from right to left. The second master fell moments later as his head was taken off by a clean strike from a second opponent. Suddenly the force phantoms disappear and the four remaining Jedi Masters find themselves facing each other with the mysterious Sith behind the Eldest Jedi. The soldiers can't see their reaction as he begins speaking because his body blocks their view of his opponents.

"Fools, you spend too much time trying to "Save" me, and not enough preparing yourself for your own inevitable end. It is now too late for any of that..."

And he is in among them again, slashing and hacking his way through their defenses. He dives under a cut at his head, using the opposing Jedi Master's downward slash to block both strikes from reaching him. His right hand extends Dual Phase White blade and severs the oldest Jedi Master in half, bring his blade up in a defensive block as the youngest master lets his blade hang in front of the Sith Lord's line of travel.

He batters this blade aside, driving it into his opponent's left shoulder. The wound smolders for a second, but leaves the Jedi Master unhurt.

With three of the six Jedi out of the way, the dark lord turns to face the new arrivals.

"Stay out of this. I have not had fun like this in AGES."

The Jedi have regrouped into a single line of glowing green and blue blades. Darth Volitus returns his right hand blade to it's usual length and it fades from a pure white to brilliant orange. He turns to the masters, his face still shielded by the shadows of his cloak, and suddenly springs into their midst. Two Jedi Masters slash towards him, regardless of their own safety and proximity to their brethren. Deflecting both blades beneath himself, Darth Volitus flips over the two Jedi and drags his blades through their bodies as he descends behind them. The third master is ready for the attack and catches the surprise attack on the center of his blade behind his back. Darth Volitus flips backwards out of his range and returns his blade to it's dual phase length and secures the Dark Blue lightsaber to his hip. The Jedi Master charges at him, green lightsaber a blur of spinning death. With a flick of the wrist, exaggerated by the nearly three meter length of the blade, Darth Volitus knocks the Master's blade aside and catches him in an upper cut. The Jedi's face is split in two, skin sagging off to either side, leaving his skull exposed. Darth Volitus picks him up in the force, squeezing the Jedi in his grip. He then hurls a bolt of force lightning at the Jedi, slamming him into the wall.

The Jedi's last breathe expels from his body in a bloody gurgle, draining his life all over the concrete of the Jedi Council Chamber.

A single blue lightsaber arcs toward Volitus from behind as he strikes the last of the six. it is blocked, not by Volitus' orange saber, but by a weapon that is difficult to see...

Corruptus seems to have materialized in the chamber, his blade defending the new arrival's back. The dark room fills with light as lightning fills the sneaky Jedi Sentinel's head. Volitus, unaware of Corruptus' presence until he casted his lightning, rises and faces him.

"I did not need your help."

"I know that. I wanted to have some fun. And getting revenge on my friend's enemies? That's fun."

The two stare at each other for a long moment and then, as it seems that one or the other will attack, their faces break out in simultaneous smiles. Corruptus reaches out to the new Sith.

"Welcome back, Volitus."

"Ah, it is so good to see you my friend. Maybe it is time to put aside our petty squabbling and remind the Jedi why children are so afraid of the Dark, no? After all, we are on the same side."

The Sith Lord removed his robe's hood, exposing a scarred yet oddly handsome face with penetrating blue eyes, a short cropped cap of nearly white blonde hair, and a rakish goatee. Darth Volitus extended his hand to his long lost friend, and pulled him into a bear hug.

"The Jedi shall always remember this day as the one where their fate was sealed..."

Corruptus gave a hearty laugh of appreciation.

"On this planet, at least. I plan on storming across the galaxy. The whole Jedi Order will know their fate soon enough. Now..."

He gave his friend a serious look.

"I would be stupid to not suspect you of wanting my new-found throne. I should tell you that you have this man to go through first, should you decide to stage a coup. He is next in line for the Sith crown."

As he spoke, he indicated the skilled young Zabrak, who stepped forward silently and with a stony look on his face, and gave a slight inclination of his head, his version of a tiny little bow.

"You must also establish dominion over my former Apprentice, Darth Incinerous, who is an independant Lord of his own now. But for now, I hope we can simply be allies."

Blood dried and caked to his face the Zabrak spoke.

"All skilled opponents are dead, all we have left are young ones and unskilled apprentice. And thou killing them is fun, i have grown bored with this." He looked at the new sith, "I say we let our young sith prove their worth. Master."

"YOUNG? Boy, I suggest you watch whom you address as YOUNG." The malice and contempt in the elder Sith's features was nothing short of Galaxy stopping. He spoke with an odd inflection, an accent more noticed for its unfamiliar quality, as if he were well into two millenia old, not just a man of 38.

"Though I have only been in THIS form for 20 years, rest assured I am as old as some planets, and OLDER than some stars."

"As for YOUR newfound throne," He spoke to Corruptus once more. "Rest assured I seek not to take it back, but simply to ensure that it remains as strong as it did for millenia under my control. I may take a few decades off and just enjoy myself once we annihilate the Jedi vermin."

"Of course, if you are offering me the younglings as a salve to my ego, rest assured, they are a fine gift... And one that is well received."

Zariel looked around coldly. Perhaps he hadn't been needed here after all. The only injuries he had noticed were sustained by Malus and that Captain, who was being attended by a storm trooper.

Not that he was completely unscathed. He had no physical injuries, but one of his men had been killed by a Jedi who had moved too quickly to avoid. Though the Jedi was disposed of, Zariel was irritated.

He had no sorrow over the loss of a fellow human. Since he had joined Corruptus' army, he had felt little in the way of emotions, except perhaps low levels of anger, and was purely dedicated to serving his master. He had trained his troopers to feel the same, but it was difficult to create a perfectly loyal, cold soldier, and losing one that he had managed to create was something that would irk him.

Ah, well, you were looking at me, so I took it as a challenge... Which really galled me since I am 10 years older than you...

"I was talking about the Sith Accolades. You don't need to act so high and mighty ancient one. May i pay you proper respect next time i talk around you. For everything is about you is it not, Sir?"

Malus barred his teeth and stared at this Sith. Malus was a prideful Zabrak, few walked disrespected him and made it out alive. Still slaughtering the masters friend would not be a wise thing to do. Yet.

Sorry Viking, I'm on it now.
Ahriman saw Tereth fall then blast away the Jedi that had wounded him, a bold effort by anyone's standards. Ahriman raced across the battlefield, deflecting the stray blaster fire that the remaining fighting generated to arrive at the wounded commander. A medic was already there, doing what little he could to staunch the bleeding.

"Move," ordered Ahriman quietly. The trooper hurried out of the way and the Sith kneeled by the commander. Ahriman removed the tourniquet and the blood flowed once more, he'd have to work quickly in order the avoid allowing Tereth to bleed to death. Concentrating on the force, Ahriman first reknitted the bone, despite his desire to staunch the bleeding this had to be done first. Then he began to repair the flesh of the arm. soon it was whole again, tough Tereth remained unconsciuos from blood loss.

Ahriman turned to the medic. "He'll need a transfusion if he is to survive, see to it." Ahriman stood up, his hands and robes covered in the blood of the commander. Again touching the force, Ahriman levitated the commander and began gently moving him further away from the battle field where he was less vulnerable while recovering.
