The Toasters and The Specials are really good old school ska (The Specials are technically Two-Tone) and both helped to shape modern ska.

Two-Tone actually IS ska. It's 2nd wave ska.

The current generation of ska-punk is 3rd wave.

Most SKA songs I have heard are from South America, I love "el gato SKA"/"the SKA cat" and "Legalización" from... I think SKApe (I am not really sure about the name of the band)
