Skill or Cheating?

So I was accused of cheating earlier in Red Dead Redemption. Why? Because I had about 20 kills, and 18 headshots, while the next best player had about 6 or 7 total kills.
How did I do so well? Auto aim, then a bit up for a headshot. I do this often, and it works fine. (I wont pretend I am super amazing, I know auto aim is 80% of it)

Despite telling the rest of the players how I achieve my scores, I was accused of cheating by many of the -other- team (which is something I plan on talking about later)

Now, this is not asking you all to believe me, but I am curious if you have ever been accused of cheating due to doing well, or if you are the kind to assume one is cheating if their score is rather much higher than everyone elses?

I actually do get suspicious too of exceptionally high scorers, however I try to refrain from acusations until I have proof (saying you are cheating counts as proof, so saying you are using a program to cheat is just stupid)

It's not cheating, you're just smart enough to realize "Hey, I can legally and fairly exploit this.' Everyone can use it, so it's not cheating. I hate pricks who ***** and moan "That's not fair, you're cheating." No. You just suck. Just because someone's good, doesn't mean they cheat. Hate to break it to the person who spends their whole life glued to Live, but there will always be someone better than you.

Yes, I have been accused of cheating. Give me a shotgun and my FAMAS and you will all die, even from across the map. They also say I move too damn fast. I fly planes. I have fast reflexes. Deal with it. If you think it unfair, the secret is high sensitivity.

Sorry for the rant, I just hate these kinds of people. So much for all's fair in love and war.

Well, I got 130ish kills in a Call of Dut match, and I was accused of using an aimbot because my primary weapon was a sniper rifle.
I've also hit lucky cross-map no scopes and been accused of cheating, but it was just luck.

When i was still playing Counter Strike.. eight to ten years ago, i had some rediculous matches with the shotgun. Plus my headshot plasmagranade throws over hilarious ranges in halo. I just had incredible luck, several times in a row.

If a game institude a rule for banning people for accusing of cheating, I'd buy it in a heartbeat (well, assuming it was otherwise good)

My definition of cheating; hacking the game, breaking the rules, or doing something that other players cannot do, excluding skills.
If you did it without hacking the game, using a skill that anyone is able do, it's not cheating. Anyone can use autoaim, so it's not cheating. They just choose not to use it. And now they're just mad that you're not playing their way, and beating them.

I got accused in Halo 3 for blowing up the whole team with one Rocket, My team was pissing themselves and the whole team came after me, they failed, cause my team came in and saved the day =P

That is the only time.

One thing you DO NOT do in Halo 3 is group together =S i thought that was obvious.

No... Never. :(
Is the sad face cause you never get accused, or because you never did anything to get you accused?

Back in the old Command and Conquer: Renegade game, I was accused of cheating constantly because I was a master with the sniper rifle. Everyone accused me of having the "Big Head" hack (I didn't even know there was such a thing the first time I was accused of it).

It was annoying, because I do well in any game with a sniper (CoD4: Dragunov King, and now Barret and Intervention Mastery in MW2). I even used to have 'sniper' in my name, till I became the DarkestofSouls.

That's why I like CoD's killcam. People can see my kills, and know that I am not sniping them through a wall cause their head is 20 times larger then their body or anything.

I was accused of hacking in CoD4 on PC.
I had 5 kills to 20 deaths. -__-

And all because I shot someone through a wall with an LMG.

I know I was not cheating, I just hate getting in trouble for things I did not do. Its much worse than when you actually did.
The main accuser retorted after telling him how "Then why do only you have so many kills and headshots?" Cause only I actually take time to aim that little bit.

This is most apparent in matches with the semi auto pistol. People auto lock and just spam. I actually risk taking a few shots just to hit the head.

There's a fine line to decide whether they cheated or not. Like the quizzes here where people are getting 100% in 00:00 time... well that's obviously cheating. There is also the factor of luck.

OT: Yes, I've been accused of cheating many times mostly the "Screen watching" claim.

In War Rock, the slightest display of skill would cause everyone to accuse you of cheating. The shit really flew when I accidentally no-scoped an enemy pilot from 5 kilometres away.
