Go camping at Enchanted Rock. Its damn nice, got good hiking and repelling and is a fun car trip with a couple mates and some music.
It's best to skip with a few friends and have an adventure.

I never skipped in high school, but university is a different story. If the professor is intolerable and the texts are good enough (evaluated by my performance on the first assignment, or something similar) I won't go very often. I never skip liberal studies though. Engineering professors can't pull too many tricks, but liberal profs like to punish people who miss class.
When I went to highschool 10 years ago, 3 absences without a doctor's note or funeral invitation would force you to repeat the grade.
don't let those make up classes fool you. I'm sure those skips will show up later when trying to get into a college. Stay with school, don't skip. Not only is it bad, but you call yourself a nerd and nerds don't take days off unless it's for a good reason.
In 6th grade my family and i skipped school, went to anchorage because they had the ONLY movie theaters for hundreds of miles and watched king kong..... totally worth the 40 mile drive.
Hmm... Whether it's worth it to skip really depends on the course you're skipping. I'm mostly in arts courses (Classical Civilizations, English Literature, English Fiction with an actually good English teacher, Vocal/Choir), so if I skip, I really miss out on fun stuff. But I've got friends in the maths and sciences streams, and since they're pretty smart, if they only go to class to write the tests, they do fine.
At the same time, just because you get a mark for being able to do something, doesn't mean you value education. That you care enough to go to school everyday will someday serve you well, especially when it's up to you to attend class.

My Teachers like me and nobody tries to tease me, why skip?
School is an important part of your life, you need to make sure to show up as much as possible. If you miss the bus, do what I do: Walk. Not going because you missed the bus is a shit excuse, just walk the 3 miles and get your education. Also, I'm probably the only 13 year old to ever say that.

Freshmen year I skipped around 80 days. I hated that school so much. Before that I rarely missed school, I have always loved school and pulled good grades but freshman year I couldn't bear to go. I wholeheartedly regret it, but my friend is trying to do the same thing and I'm doing my damndest to stop him.
Go adventuring in the woods, or have a water gun fight if it's warm enough, [heck, go to the beach] maybe OOH OOH! Got it. Think big! Have a giant pillow fight right outside the school! You gotta do something ridiculous. Ridiculously awesome. Or...
You could take your friend's dad's ridiculously expensive car, drive it to downtown Chicago, eat lunch in a fancy restaurant pretending to be the "Sausage King of Chicago", have multiple run-ins with your parents who think you're sick, sing "Twist and Shout" in a street parade, avoid the school principle who's trying to catch you, and race your sister home who is trying to expose you as well home after wrecking said expensive car by kicking it in reverse and having it fall out of the back glass wall of the garage. Oh, and make sure you make the last jump over the fence a slo-mo one, for added effect. It'll be perfect.

My best friend skips school constantly. Like, once or twice a week usually. Sometimes he skips entire weeks. I'm too chickeny to though, I just make myself ill to get off school.
