Well, they did use a fairly shitty engine for their last few games. This time it's a new one, and I wonder what that'll mean for it's stability.erbkaiser said:Not interested in Cod, and I'll pick up Skyrim in the first sale or the GOTY version. Bethesda games are seldom worth playing out of the box (almost wrote bugs there) because they tend to be unstable and unfinished, and they like to milk us with paid DLC that will be in GOTY/re-releases for free.
Agreed, with the exception of Duke Nukem Forever, I'm taking a break from FPS games.waggmd said:Skyrim! I am taking a break from the FPS genre for a bit. It's starting to get stale for me. Plus I need a nice long epic game to last me till Mass Effect 3![]()
And this is how this thread was won.E-Penguin said:Considering how I'm playing Oblivion right now, I think I'll go with Skyrim.

if i may add one more point for SKYRIM sirPlasmaFrog said:Let's compare then, shall we? Like appropriate gentlemen!
Modern Warfare 3
- Short, yet possibly detailed campaign that will only run around five hours on the most challenging difficulty
- Most attention in development is focused towards online multilayer and social interaction
- Fees for premium features
- Same rehashed, overused concept that only remains leached due to its impulsive popularity(Deal with it)
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
- Trailers depict an impressive and aw-shocking new engine that will render the most beautiful and detailed environments to date, right next to the original Crysis, not to mention impressive and improved animations
- Inside viewers and developers have proclaimed the game to be expansive in terms of exploration, gameplay, and questing
- The introduction of non-scripted major fights
- IT'S FUCKING SKYRIM
