Skyrim has had no glitches or crashes for me yet, and I love the UI.

My game randomly crashes when I get to a loading screen and I have to restart my 360. The loading screens are also 30 seconds long... Not too bad until you have to run back through a cave and hit 7 of them trying to turn in that quest you just completed, only to have it crash trying to leave the castle after you finish getting your reward from the guy...

yeah no glitches for me either
then again it took me days to encounter my first glitche in Fallout 3 so we'll see how it goes

on another note; what the hell does UI stand for!

I've played probably about 30-40 hours and I just ran into my first game-breaking bug! SWEET! Now I don't get to beat the main quest! -_-

I feel sorry for your problems with crashing, but I'm not having any myself. There are some helpful threads I've found, if you haven't already seen them.

As for the other UI problems you mentioned, I'm afraid I can't relate. I have no problem with most of the issues you mentioned. In fact, the majority of your complaints have never even happened once to me, in around 23 hours of play, on the PC version.

You also made some very odd points. You said there was a lack of item information, but I really have no idea what you mean, it says in the info box for every item whether or not it is a 2h or a 1h and whether it is light armour or heavy armour. I also don't understand the problem with not having a compare function, all of your weapons are in the same menu, so you only need to make one extra mouse movement to check whether your new sword is better than your old one.

Furhtermore, there is a sorting function that categorises items, the map "fog" doesn't block out icons or objective markers, so it will never stop you from being able to see the way to go, and I really have no idea what you mean by it being "painful" to see what items you have equipped. All equipped items are clearly marked, and if you want to see what you have equipped on your actual character, just swivel the camera.

I'm not trying to excuse Skyrim's awful UI, I just have no idea where the ajority of the complaints are coming from. There are some weird mouse slowing problems, vendor menus sometimes close for no reason and there is a shortage of binding options. Other than that, all the other problems I've heard raised just seem to be either so petty and tiny they make a fracion of a seconds difference or they just plainly don't seem exist.

No glitches at all?
Really? My copy is full of them. None enough to ruin or annoy me that much, but they are there. Like being punched by a gaint so hard I flew halfway accross the map. That is not an exaggeration. Its gitchy as hell, but hey, its fun!
[small]Psst. The giants are just that strong, it supposed to be that way.[/small]

OT: Not many bugs for me. Got a shitty xbox that will crash occasionally, but it does that for every game. One time a corpse disappeared, but I reloaded, fought it again and it was fine.
No, no. Not high into the sky, like normal. Actually ACROSS the map. I was around the middle, and hit the mountins at the edges. You would have to have arms the size of a skyscraper to throw someone that far.

the giant-death thing was CONFIRMED not to be a bug, it does that to show the giants' strength. It would be pretty lame if a giant whacked you with all of its might and your ragdoll slid a couple feet back.

Why so many PC gamers? They all apparently hate the UI (no surprise, though, obviously a console-based UI would be horribly under performing when you're navigating it with a mouse). I'll be getting Skyrim for 360 soon, so console players, how is the UI?

Playing it on a PC where Medium was recommended. Every now and again, fairly regularly, there'll be a 3 or 4 second lag spike, dunno what it's doing in that time but whatever (usually happens when travelling outdoors). Anyway, this is pretty annoying, and could be gamebreaking if it wasn't such an amazing game. Anyone else have this problem, out of curiosity? That aside though, I still think Skyrim is just wonderful. :)
I'm getting that exact same issue. I'm fairly certain it's just the game loading nearby assets, which our crappy computers need some time to handle, thus the slowdown.
I FOUND A FIX. Just thought you, and everyone/anyone else experiencing this issue might like to know.

I pretty much guarantee this to work. I tried everything else to no avail. Also, you'll be happy to know this also allows for High level graphics to be played on really low-end machines like mine. Give it a go, I'm sure you'll like it. If you install it correctly, it should re-auto-detect your graphics etc. Hope you enjoy it, it's been a life-saver for me.

I found a fix too! I turned on the fan in my room, cooling down the laptop and stopping it from getting too hot, which was causing the slowdown.

Im in the same boat. I get the occasional random crash every 24 hours or so, but i like the HUD, and the menus are decent. Sometimes a bit slow to load, but i think thats more my fault. ((When You have almost 500 encumbrance worth of gems, jewelry daggers, artifacts, books, blades and enchanted armors, its going to be slow to load.

Not to mention my favorites is roughly 1/3rd my collective spells ((Almost every spell and shout in the game learned, so its quite a high number)), and at least 12 different items.

And the save/load screens are slow for me. But i am almost on save 400. >.>; Mostly individual slots.

Everything bad i find about the game, is my fault.
