Why this is pretty awesome. I mean I'm still waiting for the release of Dawnguard in Poland, but I'll buy this one too. Really hoping for some more Game Jam features.
If Bethesda releases a DLC with spears and spear perks, they'll have my money.

If Bethesda adds spears, they will do so the same way they did crossbows, by adding them to preexisting skill trees and perks.

More skills = more levels, and the game caps at level 80 for a reason, because there's around 240 perks, 80 for each of the three play-style archetypes.

I love how we are all arguing about a DLC that hasn't even been CONFIRMED!

As in, like, you know, someone running their yap just to get some attention?

Everyone here is treating this like Bethesda just announced it and it's going to happen when it's nothing more than a rumor.

Also to the people who are bitching that you can just get a mod that does the same thing, congratulations, you have the game for PC and do not require this particular DLC that is obviously intended for the people who bought it on consoles because guess what, consoles don't have access to mods! I know right? Such a shocker!

To be honest, I thought you were one of "those" people you find here that spout shit for attention/douchebaggery. Good thing I was wrong.

Anyway, do you think that Bethesda can't live up to PC gamers expectations for games like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout because there will always be that one modder with enough free time to make something they couldn't?

About the PC, is there a way to still use a controller while playing on it? Really, the only thing stopping me from getting one is money and my inability to get used to the WASD moving scheme. It just seems too clunky for me.

You don't need to wait for the release in Poland. You can buy Dawnguard from GameStop. It only has English dubbing and subtitles, though, so you'll have to play Skyrim in English.

Hint 1: Thread was not only locked but deleted from the Bethesda forums.

Hint 2: Heartfire is the name of the month of the Tamrielic calendar that corresponds to September.

Part of the reason for this DLC when there is already a mod, would be that there are a lot of people that have Skyrim on console and therefore can't use mods but can buy DLC so this will give them the option of creating their own house if they think its worth the price.
Thank you for speaking up for those of us who DON'T have a kick ass gaming rig.

OT: This may very well be an interesting idea... I'll probably wait till I hear more about it before I make ANY kind of snap judgement. The guy who leaked it may have gotten two DLCs right thus far, but he's still a long way away from a perfect score. I never trust rumors, only think they're interesting.

Maybe they closed it to prevent false rumors? but assuming it is true he just got our DLC delayed, if someone is "smart" enough to post on the offical bethesda forums about something he leaked from bethesda, I won't count on him. although It is possible, and I'm really hoping it is true.

And dammit I want to make my own house already.

I didn't expect so much aggression in this type of discussion.

I'm looking forward to this DLC, I know mods exist but the DLC does have a few things that's nice:
1. It works on consoles
2. Build your own home mods have had regular reports of deleting items in safe storage when constructing and a lot of mod houses have issues with spouses.
3. Some people just don't like the hassle of mods
4. It puts more focus towards house building in the mod community as well as making it easier for them, instead of having to figure out how house building works they can just add items meant for the existing house building.
