I got married to Ysolda, told her to move in with me into Breezehome. She vanished.
She's not there, at the market or in her house. She's just gone.

So on my way to the Bannered Mare, I pass Adrianne Avenicci, the steward's daughter. She has dark hair, a brown dress and a steel mace.

Hmm. I think there's an industry for this sort of thing.

There is a dead guard lying in the street in Whiterun in front of the general goods store. I have no idea how he died as no dragons or any other beastie has appeared in town.

Seriously, no, I've never seen anyone in my house except for Lydia.
Lydia is dead. Her steel sword has been enchanted, named 'Lydia' and mounted on the plaque at the top of the stairs.

What if...nah. There's no such thing as ghosts.
actually, i killed a Markath guard, then dropped down a level there was another guard so i though 'stealth combo' and... he was uninteractable. i couldnt talk to him, hit him, pick his pocket...
fucking.
ghosts.
There was a NPC that died during one of the major questlines, and about a month (In-game time obviously) later he showed up in the place where he normally hanged out. He only have generic NPC dialogue when I talked with him, but it was weird.
I assume you mean
Skjor
in which case I think it because he has quests and someone forgot to give them to someone else after he dies.

I've seen the Headless Horseman roaming the roads. Tried to talk to him, but couldn't. Tried to attack him, but couldn't. (He was a ghost, as was his horse).
If you follow him, he leads you to a graveyard, where there's nothing of interest. I was quite disappointed.

OT: Other than the arrow-and-magic immune NPC's I've run into from time to time, nothing comes to mind.

Yeah I want to know who keeps bringing a naked corpse to my gay elf wedding.

All of my guests are afraid of it for some reason.
what you need to do is wait until the bridegroom (broom? gride? groomgroom?) leaves, then hide the body in the priests room.

I had Lydia keep asking me if I was lost whenever I walked into my house. I thought about going up and backhanding her to put her in her place.

Finally! I have three friends with this game and I am the only one who has ever seen him.
I've seen him a couple times. I tried to run him down to stab him in the face but never could.
I find it funny that all three of us saw what was a non-hostile npc riding along the road and tried to kill it.
To be fair, I tried every other form of interaction first!

She left you for the pool boy.

OT: I forgot something that just happened recently. I went and tried to murder all of the cannibals...got everyone except for Honri Red-Hand or whatever. He was completely invincible for some reason. No attack would connect, not even AOE spells. At least he only had a little puny dagger, so I could just ignore him while I looted everyone's corpses and fled...

So I went with the ritual as my sign right, so I raised some bandits to help me finish of the remainder and then fast travelled to Solitude with the zombies in tow. So of course we arrive in Solitude and the game realises that the spell has worn off so the bandits promptly drop dead (no problems so far).

So about an in-game week later I fast travel to Solitude only to hear the drawing of swords as 3 suspiciously familiar bandits enter battle with (and are quickly subdued by) the town guards and me (and yes up until this point their corpses had just been chilling in the streets).

That wasn't a serious question.

I just wanted to mention it because it is hilarious.

Sometimes it's a guard, sometimes it's a random citizen.
The liberties these people take with my home...
I guess now we know what it's like to be an NPC in these kinds of games. :p

Same thing happens to me. Gets pretty damned annoying.

i think this is the best way to smuggle people out of prison. kill prisoner, ressurect, bring to town.

Yeah, that's who it was. He had his own set of jobs like the other major NPC's in the group do?

Well, I had a dragon quite literally fall out of the sky and land right next to me, dead.

Walking along all nice and quiet and *CRUNCH* Dragon Soul Absorbed!

...wut?

EDIT: And of course, that time a dragon skeleton followed me back to solitude. I walk out of castle Dour, and it's just piled up at the door.

Well, considering the liberties we take with the homes of everyone ELSE, I think it only fair.

But only if they don't take anything.

Then I have to kill them.

EDIT: what Scorp said. Yeah...
