They took my shield off me whilst I was fighting the dragon. Excellent timing, gents. I commend you for your dedication to duty in the face of fire breathing myths.RamirezDoEverything said:When you kill your first dragon outside of Whiterun, I constantly kept having the guards stop and look at me, "Wait.. I know you."
I figured aiding the attempt to kill a fucking dragon would excuse my petty theft.
I know I find those everywhere. What the hell are they!? There's also one under the bridge in Whiterun that looks like two of the three deathly hollows.SirBryghtside said:This. [http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/ae33/SirBryghtside/Huh.png]

I had 2 of him. They both attacked me, saw a dragon, ran away and then came back and were friendly. It was unnerving watching them talk to one another.Jodah said:-snip-

I've seen him a couple times. I tried to run him down to stab him in the face but never could.Swyftstar said:Finally! EDIT: Okay after reading other posts I know what the first one is but could someone explain the Circle in the triangle symbol from under the Whiterun Bridge.

I always assumed a dragon conversation wasn't over until one or both parties were dead.Kwil said:Jodah said:I thought the point of Skyrim was to murder, pillage, and rape everything in sight without getting caught and then killing everything else when you do get caught...Are you telling me I've been doing it wrong this whole time? What? I'm supposed to SAVE them from dragons not feed the children to the flying lizards? BLASPHEMY!!!
No no no.. you're dragonborn, right? That means dragon are your kinfolk and what you *really* should be doing is saving the dragons when they come over to say hello, and the idiot guards and people fail to understand that things bursting into flame is just a side-effect of dragon conversation -- if they were smart, they wouldn't build things so flimsily.
Anyway, the point of the game is helping the dragons once again take their rightful place as the benevolent overlords of Skyrim.
I haven't heard of the thieves just vanishing but multiple people have been reporting robberies.Thyunda said:There are just so many Skyrim threads, I couldn't find the big questions-megathread one, so I'm just gonna have to ask here.
I went to my wife in Breezehome, Whiterun, and as I sat next to her in front of the fire in the front room, I saw a brown-cloaked figure with a steel mace at his hip just going out the front door. Assuming it was a thief, I pulled my sword and dashed outside to give him a good what-for, but when I went out...Nobody. I even reloaded the autosave, and surveilled the door, hoping to catch him. But..still nothing.
So has anybody else had this problem, or any other mysterious occurrences? And can somebody tell me what happened?
