Yep, still a pretty darn good game. Warts and all, really good.

I never had the honeymoon period people did with it because I'm a bigger Zelda nut than I ever was a TES one, though.

But as predicted, it's no Morrowind. Nothing will ever be Morrowind again.

yup. Even if I don't have anything I want to do, it's still a good game.

I'm waiting for the mods to arrive before I start getting into the heavy roleplaying.

yup. i'm only 60 hours in, and still loving it. heck, even playing the same missions is still fun with different builds and playstyles. the game is brilliant, and with the benefit of hindsight, it was totally worth my money

I clocked up 100 hours. I couldn't get that out of other games I've loved this year, particularly Deus Ex or Batman. To get that amount of time and still want to play is pretty good. If you like open world/medieval/role playing games, give it a look.

I actually find it gets better every day!

Maybe that's because I'm excited to start a new character though. Up till now I only played a destruction mage (lvl 43 ~80 hrs), and while the quests are still fun, I found the combat to be a little boring. Hopefully my new archer/sneak will be more fun (so far so good!).

I also am going to do some different "main" quest lines. Like, you know, actually do the main quest. And actually start the rebellion quest. And joining the thieves guild. And finish the dark brotherhood quests.

Yeah... I did a lot of random quests on my mage lol.

Actually now that I stop and consider it. 80 hours already. For me, that's a record. I haven't put that many hours into a game in a long, long time. Probably not since Demon's Souls. Next closest is probably Fallout NV last year, but I think I'm only at around 60 and even that took months as I'd get bored and go on hiatus.

Considering how excited I am to get back on my new character... yeah. For me, GOTY. Although that's greatly thanks to the modders and their wonderful work.

I have to put my pitiful 2c american out there. It's my 2 final exam weeks, and I've clocked 90 hours in skyrim "by steams account" and completed my level 50 cha achievement, and the only thing I completed was the College of Winterhold and the Hrothgar starter quest for the main plot.

So I restarted, upped the difficulty, and am going INSANE wishing I could cut into study time or cut more into sleep time to play. This game is one of if not the best cost to satisfaction purchases of the previous decade for me.

I. Am. Satisfied.

oh yes, for those lucky berks out there such as myself who bought it for PC, when the construction set is released, look at having another 2 to 3 games worth of content over the years at no additional cost. >_< w00000! \m/

Its more or less the hype Cumming... Still surprised Cumming is a word, but none the less, ANYWAY! It was more or less the game being released that raised all of the ITS THE BEST GAME EVER and what not.

Its worth the money and be slightly enjoyable, but, to me, its a giant MEH thats fun to mess around in.

so basically it's a good game, but not as deep as everyone was hoping.
Yeah, pretty much.

There is only one thing that could make this game better. A mudcrab merchant. Srsly I have over 2,000 pounds of shit waiting to be sold.

I love how most of the comments at least aren't all a bunch of childish squealing over the gamne's praises like a few weeks ago. Still a good game.

I was enjoying Skyrim for a bit until I finished all of the major questlines. Exploring and everything afterward just felt hollow and tedious to me, honestly. The bugs didn't help it either.

It's a fun game at all, but it's certainly not without it's flaws and didn't nearly live up to the hype.

Well, it hasn't yet satisfied me enough to actually love it but then again, maybe I have not played it enough. But if these 120 hours does or does not provide, then we'll talk about if it was worth it.

I thing it's great value. I don't regret spending £37 rather than £22.50 (Current price in GAME). Mainly as you say, I have been waiting. For so long. Ever since I stopped playing Oblivion. I bought Oblivion for £15 in 2007, and spent around 250 hours. It was my favourite game, ever. Considering I've played 50 hours so far and barely scratched the surface I would say yes, however I think the way you plough through the game definitley effects what you get out of it. If you march through all the quests and nothing else I expect you may get bored of it, but I like to get immersed.

In conclusion, you may not get as much out of it as other people...but then in comparison to other games where between 10-20 hours is completion...surely between 50-1000 hours is great value at release?!

As someone who doesn't even have the game yet (no money until the holidays and next paycheck), the hype for picking up the game is still very alive. Every day I'm constantly watching goofy FUS RO DAH videos, researching races and perks, and checking sites for updates about the game. I am very much looking forward to picking it up.

Yep, excellent game, worth every cent. Tiring of it after 200-ish hours though. Will play again with a more vigorous 'hardcore' role-playing approach & 20+ mods and see how that goes. Won't touch fast travel, enchanting/crafting, training or waiting.
