Pretty sure G4 hates Nintendo, so I think it's pretty cool that Skyward Sword is in the final.the spud said:YES! I mean, good for Nintendo, they deserved it for the first time in at least 4 or 5 years in my opinion.

And how pray tell does Skyrim win by default even though Skyrim has it's own legion of crazy and over the top fanboyism?.Heimir said:Skyrim players were busy playing the actual game. Zelda kids were all fanboying like crazy and rage-voted. Skyrim wins by default![]()
No, people who like Skyrim were too busy posting about how they took an arrow to the knee.jacobythehedgehog said:Probably because people who have Skyrim are playing Skyrim, people who have Zelda just want the world to know how good it is.

So what you're saying is, no Nintendo game should ever get game of the year, regardless of critical reception or popularity? = \SidingWithTheEnemy said:Well, I don't really care.
But I still post.
Because I think that a game that has to be valid as Game of the year has to run on a majority of the systems. Not just WII or PS3 exclusive. If a game can't bother to be ported to the other systems it's not worth being named game of the year.
You might call it PC Game of the year or Wii Game of the year but anything else is just ridiculously senseless in my opinion. Feel free to disagree but that's my personal prequisite.
