At first, I thought this might be an eager game depicting the plight of slaves in an adventure game sense. Maybe an history education game. But NOPE, check out the insane trailer:

Except for the hilarious Wilhelm scream, this game's goals are in really bad taste. "BECOME THE MOST POWERFUL SLAVETRADER".

i saw another thread and i saw this and it hit me as to what it is.
its a statement about how any game that brings up a controversial topic can and inevitably will be defended as 'art'.

because you just know that someone is going to say 'nononono it doesnt SUPPORT slavery, its showing the dark and gritty lifestyle of the slave trade FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE! we hear about how it was for the slaves but this is how the SLAVERS lived and why they did this. its ART! you wouldnt UNDERSTAND!'

Huh, I wonder why its rated AO. Maybe its just "slavery is bad, mkay" but that's a terrible reason. Anyways, slavery is bad and all but once if divorce the highly charged notion of slavery from the equation then this is just a sim game with what looks like luke warm and boring gameplay. The only thing it has going for it so far is shock value. Not a good way to make games.

A game about slavery has already been made. I can't remember its name, it was Japanese and had two characters. A woman who enslaves a man with a Running Man -esque explosive collar. The Escapist even had an article praising its story if I remember correctly, twisted fuckers.

I don't think this is real either, at least going by Mr Cavalli's article on it that I read earlier.

Either way, don't care. Slavery is old news in the western world, about time people stopped getting so pissy about it. Nobody even close to being alive was a slave.

We can joke about Hitler's ovens but can't even touch the subject of slavery? Get bent.
