I once played Bioshock for fifteen consecutive hours, until I passed out in Fort Frolic. When I came to four hours later, I was in Hephastus whatever-it-was with full health and ADAM bars and pickups, I had saved all the little sisters, and I was monkey wrenching a Bouncer to death.

I am so awesome I play Bioshock in my sleep.

I can't keep playing a single player game for more than like 2-3 hours. ('cept CoD games, which i always play through in one go.) If it's online i can keep going 'till i fall asleep. One summer i did nothing else for a week, but playing WoW for 16 hours every day. It was sad, yet so good.

There was also this one time in Battlefield Heroes beta i played a day or two straight, when i went outside i heard something behind me and tried to press F to look behind. I lol'd.

Left 4 dead 1 and 2 with four friends split screen, 2 peoples 18ths, lots of alcohol and 28 hours later we had finished the first one and half way through l4d2 and most of us had collapsed and coma'd. Epic night, great fun and lots of empty bottles

My longest gaming session was probably when I stayed at my friends house near the start of the year and noticed that he had Mass Effect on his computer. I started at around 7pm-8pm and finished the game at 12pm the next day. He was playing the copy of Uncharted 2 I brought to his house on the TV next to me. We did stop for an hour or so to watch some TV, but we still stayed up all night and didn't go to sleep so we could finish the games.

DA:O, I played for 20 hours straight, before going to bed and doing it again.

Same thing with ME2.

What can I say? BioWare makes immersive games.

I did an entire 24 hours of plane journey on games. On the plane's first half, I played a combo of Mario Kart, and a crappy Space Invader Ripoff. The second half consisted of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and then back to Space Invaders. I only stopped Mario Kart because I beat everything, and I only stopped FFTA when the damned GBA ran out of batteries.

Championship Manager 2001/2002 played it for 2 days and 3 nights only stopping to go to the bathroom or get something to eat (and proceed to eat it at my computer ), yeah ..... that was about 8-9 years ago and I never actually did something like this again (most I ever did after that was a 24h marathon ), surprisingly enough though I didn't go to sleep when I finished but proceeded to go and play football (soccer)with some friends ..

I had one sleepless night when HL2 came out. 12 hours non stop. Now I usually have breaks every hour. Not because I should, but because I feel like it. And my breaks tend to last longer as I get older. Nah, I have no commitment.

I can't even remember tbh, most nights I just don't sleep due to playing various games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc. I do remember completing the 1st Uncharted in one sitting though which was about 6-7 hours i think.

I know I must have had like a 24 hour+ gaming session at one point, and I'm pretty sure it was with Fallout 3.

I know what felt the longest though, when Left 4 Dead 2 came out. I hadn't slept all night before, and left the house at 7 am to go to work. Then followed 8 hours of constant standing up, working hard in a industrial kitchen. Got off, picked up my game, sat on the train for an hour to get home, ate and then went to bed. But I had to at least try one campaign right? I ended up staying up way into the next day, miserable because of the lack of sleep, running through the game several times. That was such a miserable night, but I just couldn't turn it off. Think my total "awake count" ended at 52 hours.

I feel unworthy to walk in this hallowed hall of ridiculous play times. The best I've done is 7-8 hours of Fallout 3. But if we go with Dungeons and Dragons, I've played for 4 days in one stretch without sleeping, with the longest breaks being ten minute food breaks every seven hours.

Roughly 11am to 11pm straight on Dungeons and Dragons Online. Only time I left the computer was to use the toilet.

Why I gave up MMORPG's.
