In my youth, friends and i would come together and have long gamein sessions, stuff like me, my father, and a couple friends, all playing the Matrix movie game untill we won.
I played L4D2 at my friends house one time till 8 in the morning, but we started at 8 at night...
He actually fell asleep while playing at about 5, so that made it kind of difficult for me.
40 something Hours. Finished school for the week went to a Lan party where we halo'd and CS's up for 16 straight hours then went home to play some more with some mates. Then when everyone else crashed i jumped on some MMO that i've long since forgotten, something by Nexon (Money whores!) I do believe. Then back to halo when they woke up and continued for a day or so. I finally crashed a few hours before school and then slept through my entire double math and my free period.
Pretty sure that's the biggest marathon i've done.
i had come back from a week holiday with no gaming consoles(i hear you gasping)! i dont know what i played but it didnt matter it was like being reborn. all i can remember is that it was 26 and a half hours with 2 toilet breaks and i ate a sandwich while playing. i slept for 2 days after that. and missed the next day at school cos i was still tired.
Probably Tales of Symphonia. There was just so much to do, and I just had to do it all. Sadly, it was not a 100% run as I missed a couple things, but I did beat the game and almost all of the side quests in one sitting. It was a little over 25 hours. (Those blasted devil arms took me forever to find.)
I Beated Resident Evil 5 On Amateur,Normal,And Veteran Without Sleep (Around 30 Hours)
Couldnt Beat Proffesional That Day
After Finishing Playing I Couldnt Walk Or See Y Was Really Dizzy And All I Saw Was A White Blob
It Was A Nice Day Though
And I Am Only 16 Wait Until I Have My Own House Without My Parents Bothering
LAN parties usually involve 24 hours of games, and 4 hours of sleep. I think after some 26 hours of gaming, everyone else went to bed, I got high and started playing guitar hero 3. Played for six hours, and went to bed. So 32 hours is my rough estimate.
Guild Wars, the entire summer after Sophomore year of high school consisted of 6:00 AM to 3:00 AM, gaming. 3:01AM to 5:59AM, sleep. I'd shower, use facilities, and eat one meal a day accordingly.
My account definitely has bragging rights to show-off now days but I can't help but wonder what else I could have done that summer.
I've played World of Warcraft (yes, yes, I know, I'm a geek) for 18 hours with only toilet breaks. Food was taken in during trading and crafting and energy drink cans were piled up almost a foot high on the floor afterwards.
Spent the next two days in a foul mood and really tired. Totally worth it though!
I did everything in KotOR in roughly 4 days (not 4 days playing time, 4 days of doing other things) during one of my playthroughs.
One of the sessions involved around 22 hours of playing.
I'm pretty sure my longest gaming session was during my first play through of oblivion and it was some where around 20 hours before passing out in my computer chair, it was quite the fun time.
