Yeah apparently when he my roommate goes to sleep he becomes the mayor and masked hero of Fudgetown and has adventures he narrates very specifically. It gets quite interesting.
(snicker)(chuckle)(chuckle) really? next thing you know, nickolodeon or cartoon network will want to buy that idea from him
Yeah I know but hey if they do it right it could be the next hit. Of course they would have to edit down a bit of the mature content.

You'd be surprised what happens in Fudgetown at night!

My friend once sleep-ran around the house sleep-yelling "THE FUNNIES ARE GOING TO GET ME!"

I myslef don't usually talk in my sleep, or if i have nobody's ever heard it. However, one time, whilst asleep of course, i pack up my duvet (Doonah) up and walked down to the other end of the house and crashed in the other bed of my brothers bunk bed. I was wiered out when i woke up in my brothers bed. I thought my dad waas playing a joke.

I thought of another. This was back in 97 or 98. Me and my friend were playing a video game (Golden Eye for the 64 I believe). He decided to go to bed but I stayed up for a little bit longer. Later on he starts crying (with tears) and he says in a little whimper"No Captain planet...". That was disturbing.

Apparently i sleep swear. Like to the point of screaming/yelling "F*CK" etc. Only when i am camping though. I think its because i must feel claustrophobic sleeping in a tent (awake, i am in no way claustrophobic) and in my sleep i am panicking and trying to get out.
Or else im really f*cked in the head.

There is a recording of me murmuring and then screaming "NOT THE FUCKING CHEESE GRATER! NOO"

*ahem*

And I've done space_oddity's trick and swore for 45 minutes straight. I'm told it was one long stream of profanities and curses.

I talk a lot in my sleep.
Once on a vacation, I woke my sister up shouting 'KITTENS!' with a high pitched voice. 'LOOK HOW CUTE!" at 2-30 AM.
Same vacation, I was punching the wall next to my bed in my sleep. My sister, who didn't know I was doing it in my sleep asked me to stop it because it kept her out of her sleep and I replied 'What, this is art!' followed by murmuring an explanation about why it was art...

It runs in the family though, my mother has it too and even worse then me. She's a teacher, teaching people how to cook. One night, she went 'No that's salt! You're supposed to put sugar in it!'.

Hilarious.

When I used to share a room with my brother. I remember him, quite matter of factly. Saying "puh...that won't work superman...jeez". I asked him about it when he woke up and he had no idea what I was talking about.

One time, my brother woke me up and said I just screamed 'JESUS CHRIST!' in my sleep. I didn't recall even having a dream, much less a nightmare. Weird.

Yeah, I occasionally sleep talk.

Me and my football team were in Barcelona to compete in a tournament there, and I shared a hotel room with two of my friends. Apparantly, that night I sat up in bed and started a conversation with my friend who were laying next to me who were also fast asleep. My third friend woke up to find us sitting up and chitchatting in our sleep.

It bugs me that I don't recall what we were talking about, though.

My friend starts giving SWAT team commands in his sleep such as "Red team you go around to the back, Blue team you and I will take down the front entrance." and other such things

If I recall correctly ... Usually speaking in your sleep is the sign of deep rooted but repressed trauma, or something of the similar nature.

With that said, I run through D&D Adventures in my sleep as a PC and can even hold fully intelligible conversations with people.
Your cerebral cortex is functioning on all cylinders when you're dreaming. As in, it's working just as if you were awake. Your body pumps a neural inhibitor into your body when you go to sleep that makes it so your muscles don't respond to the brain's commands because otherwise you'd be physically doing what you're dreaming.

Sometimes the dosage goes wonky and you have people who kick in their sleep, talk, or sleep walk.

One of my mates was sleeping in a room with another one, when one of them came out with;

"(Name ommitted) I'm going to fucking kill you!"
"What?"
"You heard me! Don't get in my way!"

Safe to say that particular friend had a very patchy sleep for the rest of the night, and an amusing story when we woke up the next day.

My friend and I were just playing some video games while his younger brother was passed out on the bed. We hear him start mumbling and groaning and then "I DON'T TASTE!!" We nearly died laughing.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I always wondered how that worked.

"Too many snakes... where's Piggy?" < cookie for the reference

My mom talks in her sleep quite a lot. Sometimes she yells, it can be quite unsettling.
