Anyway, I found out about the slender man thing a couple of weeks ago via knowyourmeme.com, started watching the videos on youtube in the dark. My god they are terrifyingly good.

The only thing that I laughed at was the the cliched "moving swings" in the park in entry 3 or 4. That was the moment that I discredited these videos as fake. Clever, and well executed. but fake.

Of course they're fake. It's a drama internet series set up by some art students.

Marble Hornets is pretty awesome and does a good job at trying to validate the Slender Man myth. I've been watching them for a while and the level of dedication to them is amazing.

Slender Man is pretty creepy, if you continue watching the Marble Hornets series I think you'll notice a lot of similarities between him and the G-Man (i.e. Watching you, materializing out of no where, being a creeper).

They actually look almost identical, the Tall Man from the games and the Slender Man from this 'myth'...

It's Something Awful. It's like 4chan but not as vile. This has no validity, and I'm not going to buy into it until I see the Slenderman myself and survive.
