Slow loading times on the escapist

Major issues here, but then again my internet is about as fast as a dead hedgehog at the best of times.

I've noticed that whenever content takes it's time to load on this site, my browser always tells me it's waiting for "angeladvertising.com" or something. Just an observation I'm afraid, I can't really elaborate from that.

Depends on type of net methinks...

Last week I was on tiscali and the page loaded really quickly, 5 secs or such.

Now im with talktalk (We got migrated) with 5-6X faster speed (No kiddin' its awesome, specially HD YOUTUBE!!!) but the escapist loads hella slow.

This is a whole new problem for me! It's never been an issue at all until today.

Not sure why but the website is a complete nightmare on my desktop but worked fine on my now-deceased laptop *pours a beer for Lappy*. It's taken me 5 attmepts to just get to this thread!

The escapist has been really slow for me today, taking up to 10 minutes just to load a page, whilst sometimes it even brings up the 404 error.

Also for some strange reason, there are no threads in the gaming discussion section of the forum. Just a message saying.

"Alas there are still no threads for this forum section."

Is anyone else having the same problem?

It's slow today. It took me around 20 minutes to get the latest Zero Punctuation video.
