I think Torbay is the only place in Devon where we haven't got snow, and I live there.

I woke up late for my bus, I was hoping College might be closed but its not, all they closed are the last 2 lessons. I have to pretend to call in sick now.

Well It's been hell, but I was actually able to get into work yesterday despite the roads being covered in snow and my car buried. I'm off today so I'm wrapping up warm with a cup of tea and playing some games :)

Its -22 Celsius degrees here, about 15 cm snow and its still snowing. Everything works like the usual, and never during my lifetime have the schools been closed because of the weather. Also, theres this really cold wind to top it all.

Welcome to Finland's capital, the most southern point in all of Finland.

I have to go snowboarding. It's not even a question. And I don't care how I get there either, but I will be on the mountain.

I'm in the south west so I don't get any snow. The finger cracking cold doesn't even get balanced out by a nice bit of frost. The best I got was last year when there was a salt shortage and I had to waddle carefully down the street every morning to avoid falling on my ass.

The trains near me are all cancelled, as are most of the buses, so I can't get to uni. I'm a sad panda. :(

A) What I do on snowy weekdays is called 'going to uni'.

B) What I do after that is called 'skiing', but only when the thermal graph doesn't look like this:

But mostly, I do what I do usually: ski, hang out with friends, play games, read books etc.

I walk everywhere in the city anyway, ok it takes a little longer and I have to wear my boots but other than that its not a problem.

That is until it becomes time to head home for Christmas, The main road home is bad for landslides so god knows if the buses will be on at all. Failing that there are only two options take a train even further north then travel back south on one of the worst roads in the country. Or an island hopping route involving two ferry's and three expectationally dodgy roads.

Outside of that I have uni work and assorted games on my laptop to keep me entertained.

Read a book or watch a movie? Some of my friends I bet are doing the regular snow stuff but I find it boring and i'm not really fond of snow that much.

My girlfriend lives all the way over in South Yorkshire and she has been cuddling up with a blanket and talking to me when I'm awake. Aisde from that I think it's coursework, coursework, coursework until the Xbox 360 I sent her as a replacement arrives on Thrusday (hopefully) and she can game a little bit.

Though I usually make fun of you Brits for freaking out over snow (I'm Canadian, eh!) this is kinda serious. A lot of places are getting feet (WHOLE FEET!) of snow and that's bad when you don't have proper winter gear, as most Brits don't. Hope you guys can survive. Don't be pusses like Toronto and call in the army. ;)

The snow is up to my knees. 16 inches of pure frozen hell. I know, I measured it. I had to fight my way through it to open the henhouse, and my chickens refused to leave! I had to gather all their food and water and leave it inside for them.

This is probably the only reason I'm glad to be unemployed. I don't have to fight my way through all the snow to get to work.

I've got about 4-5 inches of snow here, and it is supposed to get worse over the next two days or so. Worst part is the Aribourne concert I'm meant to be at tomorrow might be canceled or I might not even be able to get there considering the trains.

There's literally no snow in Reading either. Or at least where I live in Reading. I look out the window and what was left this morning has completely cleared, not one drop of white.
