Apply the crack

Seriously? Probably spend about an hour creating a character, only to get bored after 10-20 mins of play. Go figure.

Ignore everyone, level up as much as I can, dress entirely in drag, then wander into the deep dark unknown mountains hoping the game throws a colossus at me.

Same thing I usually do when I start a game like this: Discard all starting equipment.

Yeah. Cold be damned, I don't feel that the game is truly underway until all starting gear has been replaced with better stuff aquired from bandits and random treasure chests. Discarding that junk right away saves me the trouble of doing so later.

Once properly armed and armored, I will seek out a settlement and a quest giver.

I'm gonna sleep in, continue to not show any interest in the game and go on with my life.

Kill anything with better stuff than me...pretty much the same thing I did in Oblivion and Morrowind

wander into the nearest town then RP as either a young thief, as normal, or:
(because i heard there would be relationships) RP an old divorced dragon hunter who eventually finds love again. then she gets brutally murdered.
i may even do a machinima about it, if i can get my goddamn capture card to work.

I might do a quest or two for the main the quest line before inevitably getting distracted by the College of Winterhold. Oh and if there's an arena, I'm in.

I'm just going to follow the main quest line and if I get distracted then that's what happens.

I refuse to go in with some sort of plan, I just want to appreciate it.

Do forgive me for being a smart-ass, but the first thing I'd do (if me and my husband had the money in the first place to buy the game), is do what I always do in any of the TES games: roll a Khajiit thief. And after I'm let loose into the world I would steal everything in sight.

But, alas, me and my husband WON'T have any cash on-hand to buy the game when it releases, as what money we'll have will go straight into surviving while in Germany (he's taken a class that'll let him study abroad, and he's taking me with him. ^^) Sadly, he'll be staying in Quedlinburg and I'll be in Magdeburg. Look them up if you wish to know more about these places.

What I'm saying is, the first thing that I'll REALLY be doing learning the language of the country I'll be staying in during that time.

So, if I were to get this game, the first thing I'd do would probably be to just head out into the wilderness and see what it throws at me;
This for me too... the best part of Bethesda games is just wandering off towards some building or landmark in the distance and seeing what you find there.
I will probably do this too :) I tend to wander about in these games and completely forget what I was doing in the first place.

*wanders back into town*

Villager: 'Did you get my mystical object of awesomeness?'

Me (after a long vacant stare): 'CRAP!'

*wanders back out of town*

Me: OOO Whats that shiny thing over there?

and repeat.

Find a dragon, and try to kill it. My magnum opus character will be a dragon hunter, but I'm going to try and not learn any dragon shouts and see how the game plays.

Still, they look cool so I might hold off and just goof off with the character creator for about six hours.

See if it is dx9 only and if PC owners have been given a bum deal. If so, then I won't pay for it......
If not, then probably find the biggest, shiniest thing in the back drop and head towards it!

Uh...whatever I can do first? In Oblivion I went wandering off and got attacked by several bandits, so probably that.

Until then, I just got Morrowind and am finding a bunch of mods for it. Can anybody recommend me some? I already got better bodies, clothes and heads, creatures x, children of Morrowind, a sound mod, sea of destiny and al vendras. Any more I should get?
Well, for morrowind, I usually get the MGE utility, as well as Vampire Hunger, Vampire Embrace, Werewolf Realism (I always choose the "change at will" plug-in from that package), Werewolf Evolution, Vampire-Werewolf + Werevamp-Realism patch (to fix the weirdly placed vampire head on a werewolf body), Necessities of Morrowind (just to have a downside to being perfectly normal), Go To Jail (to keep from loosing any stats from going to jail originally), Morrowind Crafting and Morrowind Crafting Houses (I disliked having a house that I could own but not decorate myself), More Crafting, and Sri's Alchemy.

They said said in an interview that they have at least done a high res texture pack but I'm not sure about DX11 I would love for them to have a stable mode though.

Finish the rest of New Vegas. There are still a few places in Honest Hearts and Old World Blues that I still haven't explored.
