Really? For me I always crave a twix.

Umm...I mean...never mind
Two words: toaster strudels.
Two better words: MEAT BREAD

I'm not all that surprised that the media would print this, I am shocked that the news of the world got hold of it first though.

I love how it's News Of The World when no one other than America cares.
I don't care to be honest. Though, Phelp's achievement is indeed notable. Of course, swimming is one of the least entertaining sports in the olympics to watch and Phelps has demonstrated he is apparently completely lacking in charisma or telegenic value. This, like most things will quickly fade from American memory. I mean, no one mentioned Phelps before the olympic coverage began, and given his level of success he's fallen off the map pretty quick. No one ever mentioned Mark Spitz unless someone asked "Who has won the most gold medals".

Achievements or not, great or not, in order for Americans to stay enamored with something it has to constantly new and exciting.

Big deal, he smokes a bit of weed.

I could see the problem if he was competing stoned or if he was using something that enhances physical performance, but he's not. He's just having a toot on someone's bong.

It would mean the same to me if he had a pint of beer in his hand.

Stupid, stupid, STUPID press.
