I'm starting a Bachelor course in Communcation and Multimedia Design on a local college next week.
Honestly, I'm nervous as fuck. I've tried 2 college courses before that were both horrible trainwrecks, fell into a black hole of depression and worked at a mindnumbing job for 2 years while slowly recovering from said depression. Now I'm finally going back to school again, and I'm really keeping my fingers crossed.

Ahhh, I was always wondering about that myself as well. There's a clear, educational distinction between the two over here in Holland. College is a more business focussed type of school while university is, of course, academical. You also need a higher level high school diploma to enter university.Midnight Crossroads said:There is a distinction. A college is an institution with a singular purpose. A university is a collection of colleges. They'll have their own colleges of education, liberal arts, engineering, business, medicine, etc. Each college will have their own dean and staff, but are all subordinate to an overall president of the university.
