I'd personally do what my parents did for me- Choose a name at birth. My girlfriend wants to have two sons and name them Jack and William. She really, really likes Pirates of the Caribbean.

Having kids is absolutely nowhere on my radar (I'm 20! Come on! If I were an American citizen, I wouldn't be legally allowed to drink, nevermind raise a child), but for some reason I figure that if I ever had a son I would want to name him Julian. It just struck me one day how good that name sounds with my last name on the end. For a girl... I have no idea.

My biggest problem is that I don't write down any of my great ideas for this when I have them. So I rarely have more than about 3 names to work with at any given time.

I'd name my first son Raymond, after my late grandfather. If I had a second son, I'd call him Daniel/Danny, because I have a friend called Danny-Ray.

Bender Bending Rodriquez will be my third son (after William and Jack, assuming I'm still with the same girl).

In all honesty though, anything that starts with a "J" seems to make a wicked name. Justin, Jason, Jack for a guy. Jessica or Jenna for a girl. My first name starts with a "T", so it has nothing to do with that. My primary main character's name in Final Fantasy XI is "Jessie", and so too is the secondary main character in the novel I'm writing. Love those names!

I decided that whenever I get someone pregnant I'll let the lady name the kids. That way, I can hold it against her in an argument whenever we're fighting. I am gonna insist they take my last name though.

"What do you mean I'm manipulative and self-centered? I let you name the kids, didn't I?"

My first-born shall be named thusly: Not-As-Big-As-Medium-Sized-Jock-But-Bigger-Than-Wee-Jock-Jock, regardless of gender. I'm not entirely certain how I would convince said child's mother to go along with that, but I assume that it will involve alcohol. Next will be Chewbacca, also regardless of gender. If I have another I'll begin coming up with gender specific name.
