So...Greg Giraldo died. That's pretty sad.

Heard of him, but only tangentially. I couldn't really put a joke or a memorable routine to the name. Not like Mitch Hedberg or George Carlin or even Dennis Wolfberg when they died.
He's most known for being on the roasts on Comedy Central. He was a pretty funny guy, deserved to be more well known than he was.

The next roast is definitely going to feel...different.

Ten bucks says Jeff Ross says something to make Giraldo turn in his grave while simultaneously looking on approvingly from the afterlife. If Cleese could roast Chapman at the latter's funeral, I expect no less from Ross.

For once, a famous person died whose name I actually recognize. Now I'm kind of sad.

Wow, Greg Giraldo... he was only 44? Sucks for him. I won't miss him that much, I didn't think he was that funny...

Anyways

I hate it when anyone who is famous who I actually like dies, it makes me feel a bit more empty inside...

Well that's...depressing.

At least he gets to meet George Carlin in Comedian Heaven. That's a good way to look at it.
He also gets to meet Bill Hicks and Richard Pyror. Lucky Bastard.

Not Greg Giraldo, oh god no, the guy was one of the funniest comedians and one of the few I enjoyed listening to. Ya there were others but no matter when I saw him on the tv, even if it was a repeat, his jokes were funny as hell and I really enjoyed him.

RIP brotha
