I'm surprised so many people here actually like Halo 2's campaign. Apart from the beginning and all the stuff on Earth (which was awesome) it was so fucking boring. The pacing of this game was absolutely disasterous, and the ending... good god, the ending!

Well the ending isn't really that bad now since Halo 3 is out.

Well I never bought the first re-make because I still have the original Halo, but I nver played the second one so I might get it, although does this mean that in a few years we'll be getting a Halo 3 re-make?

THIS IS NOT A FUCKING CASHGRAB

A halo 2 remake would be nice, we have this long extended story that some are not exposed to so a remake of a very popular game would be nice to see. Plus, you can probably tell its aged about the same way as World of Warcraft.

I did play it the other day though, it was still hella fun.

The graphics are decent, reasonable and playable. Wtf is this? Deus ex?

Knowing this trend, in about 4-5 years time people will be trying to claim for a re-texture of Halo 3.

As long as "the old big thing" is the best multiplayer shooter of all-time (Halo 2), I'm perfectly happy with that decision.

Well I had planned to play Halo 2 on my Xbox earlier this week only to discover to my displeasure that my new Xbox (one of those black ones, I don't know what) won't play original Xbox games. So I guess I have to get it now, huh?

I'm sick of Halo to be honest. haven't found one entertaining since 3. But on nostalgia alone, if supported by Xbox Live and with all map packs intact, I might buy this on nostalgia alone. Though I have a better idea. Bring back Live support for Halo 2 and give away the map packs. That'd be just as good. Though I suppose if it's not shiny and new less people would play it. But fuck them, they're assholes.

I have some nostalgia for Halo 2, but it was hands down the most broken MP game of all the Halos. It had plenty of retarded (intended) mechanics too.

CE on the other hand is arguably the most balanced FPS MP game of all time.
