So St Patrick's Day is over by almost every reckoning, and I was just wondering what everyone had done for it.
Personally I don't drink, so I mostly stayed home and played Final Fantasy IX, but then tonight from 10 I was playing at a bar on Donegall Street (I'm living in Belfast) and it was a great night. Good crowd, all drunk in a very friendly way, and I got to play a lot of songs I haven't played in a while, like Thin Lizzy and U2, because everyone wanted the Irish songs, even from an Englishman.
So how about you? Do you celebrate it. Did you? Even just drinking a lot?
For those curious 'craic' is an Irish expression, meaning 'vibe, atmosphere, time.' So when you ask 'good craic?' It's a way of saying 'good time?'
