Please stop baiting me now. I feel I've angered the mods enough. I'm sure Labrynith just wants to ban me by simply seeing my name right now.
Unless the only possible way of expressing your opinion is angry zealotry, I see no reason for your reluctance. And if it is, this merely proves my point of PETA operating like a cult.
Seriously, why badger him? Arguably you're also operating like a cult by using these tactics of harassment against bystanders who refuse to engage with you. If he wants to drop it let him drop it, it was over a week ago.

Drop what? All I want him to do is justify the existence of PETA, which is something I can not possibly do. Just saying "drop it" is meaningless. If I made a thread asserting that the earth is flat that was countered with scientific evidence to the contrary, and the only reply I could muster was "You know what? Just drop it. I don't want to get banned." wouldn't you think that I was, at the very least, mildly retarded?

I think you need to check who made this thread because it wasn't him. Really, I have no idea why you picked him to ask since he made very little contribution to this thread. Wouldn't asking the OP, purple rain, be much more logical? After all he made this thread in an attempt to counter the very image of PETA you put forward and so seems like he'd be much more willing to debate this. Unless you're trying to continue the argument sparrowtag was probed for (not sure what it was) in which case dropping the argument is indeed a sensible thing to do.
Anyway, not being banned is an admirable goal I hope we all adhere to, even if it means dropping out of an argument when it gets hot.

Woah, what's this? Someone sticking up for me? I must need glasses.

Anyway, I was actually suspended for calling Kraken out. It wasn't even about PETA, it was just in a PETA thread. I was pretty harsh about it though.

However, I got probated, which led to my suspension, saying that I don't think we're very nice people for eating meat. It lead into a clusterfuck, and one guy quoted me which led to around twenty people quoting me. In the end, I was really suspended because it was either me, being one person, or them, being twenty people.

I don't understand why this guy MUST have me make an opinion. If he really wants one, he can PM me. I don't think the mods would mind that.

Oh right. I couldn't find that because your probation was up. But still, I'm not sure why you were quoted here since you only made 1 post I could find and not one that was exactly anything that could be discussed (that's not a criticism, just an observation). As I said, talking to Purple Rain would get him further.

But getting back on topic...

Honestly anyone who throws blood on other people because they have this mistaken belief that animals are equal to humans needs to be shot in the face, many, many times. Hell I'd pardon Al quada (however its spelt) if they agreed on a contract to only bomb peta buildings and functions. Hell I'd give them medals.

Honestly, for an animal rights/worship group. They are pretty amatuerish these days, and down right annoying.

PETA doesn't protest in scotland as far as i know. Probably because they know they'd get mugged/stabbed/murdered/beaten to within an inch of their lives for it. Thou shalt not protest outside our food stores, we will retaliate with extreme prejudice =P

Dammit now I'm hungry. :( I'll have to go get some beef jerky now...
I have to say I like my meat, dairy, etc. and I can't have that taken away from me, It fills me up. Its satisfying. That's why most people don't really like what PETA is they think that PETA is ultimately there to take away their prime ribs, bacon, or grilled chicken, and while this may be their ultimate goal for now they have made advances in the anti-animal testing department that frankly I applaud. Again Im going to keep my meat eating habits.

Why do I dislike PETA? Simple. I enjoy eating meat, and their attempts at guilt-mongering can get annoying. Also when they make a fuss over stupid things like Obama swatting a fly, they make themselves look like asses.
