Sorry, I'm not a lyrical critic, so I will be crap.LilithSlave said:What on earth are you even trying to say?Durgiun said:Yes there is. They're stating things that we already know and they're trying to sound rebelious about it.LilithSlave said:There is not a DAMNED thing wrong with those lyrics.Durgiun said:Bad Religion. In small doses. Their lyrics are pretty crap, I can't deny.
We already know? We who and how is it relevant?
Rebellious how? In a bad way how?
"Rebelling" is sometimes a good thing. In this case "we" is a small minority of people who understand the negative impact of Christianity on American culture. Rebelling, means making a statement against the Christian majority who are a problem, and hopefully inspire others to do the same, instead of submitting to their BS.
I think that there's a problem with what YOU'RE saying, ridiculing those who have the bravery to be out of the closet about problems they see in society.
What I meant was, the lyrics sound like something a 14-year-old who just discovered atheism and anarchy would say. There is nothing to stimulate one's mind into thinking about any issues that might be presented within the song. It's all so bloody simple, if you're over 15 and have had internet acess to fstdt.net
The Christian majority? Dude, it's the vocal minority, the fundamentalists, you have to worry about. Joe Q. Christian isn't a threat to anybody, damn it.
Oh yes, because if you stand up to the EVUL Christians you'll get flogged and burned at the stake. Not even in the most backwards of the States would that happen. Publicly, at least.
I don't know about you, but even back in the 90s when that video was made people were publicly talking about problems. No big deal. Unless we were in China or North Korea would that be SO HARDCORE.
