I got back from the store the other day and found a package from UPS at my door. I took it inside and though I didn't order anything or recognize the sender, I opened it. Turns out it was an electromagnetic transducer. I tried calling the phone number on the return address, but it says that the number is no longer in service. I don't want this thing and I don't know what to do with the damn thing. Advice?

A transducer is a device that converts energy from one form into another. Logically, an electromagnetic transducer either converts electromagnetic energy into another form of energy or converts energy into electromagnetic energy. Though I've worked out it's basic function, I don't know it's actual function.

So that's what it does. Well I say keep your eyes. Open. If you see some men in black, a weird phone call from a robotic person asking you about the item, or a bewildered shia la beuf running in your direction I think you need to get out of there.

no. without the software to use it its worthless. not to mention you could take the money and run off without shipping the package like people on ebay do.

EDIT: you can donate it to a university for a tax deduction or something.

It didn't come with any software and I would never do anything like that. My word is my bond, as I am bound by the rules of social decorum. But you've insulted my honor, $40.
