So I just bought an action figure...

The other day I want to my local Gamestop, just to look around and finish paying off my copy of Halo: Reach when I came across a small collection of Halo action figures. I returned the next day and bought it. After a payed with it for a while, I put it on my shelf and realized that he seems lonely. So I plan on buying an elite figure when I get Reach. Do you guys collect/buy action figures? Do you consider them toys? Do you actually play with them or do you just leave them in their boxes? Does this seem too nerdy and sad, or is it alright because it's Halo?

I don't see the problem in using them as statues. Playing with them is a bit.....odd though.

You should consider yourself lucky for still being able to play with toys. When I was 12, a little something snapped in me and, among other things, I stopped being able to play with toys. Which is a real shame, too. I have a few inch-tall pokemon gashapon figurines and they just scream for bathtime fun, with bubbles and those cool crayons that would write on the tile splash...
I miss being a kid! Being a grown-up is terrible! D:

I don't have the space to get the ones i want, all i have is a figure of Renji from Bleach and i love it.

Once i get more space ill start collecting more, starting with Metroid.
There are two figures i must have, one is Samus in the Zero Suit(Echoes Style) and another is Samus in the Gravity Suit.
They bot look awesome.

It wasn't the spelling I was talking about, it was ridiculing him for just buying an action figure. Despite that, I know your not a massive fan of halo so that also made me a bit quick to the jump. I have a few here and there. I just use them as display stuff. I have about 5 from the figma collection (Lum from Urusei Yatsura, Black Rock Shooter, and a few others), and I have a bunch of Gundam models I made from over the years if those count.
