For the price of what you are looking for, you might check into the Ultimate Edition, which comes with everything, including Awakenings. Having played them all, I wouldn't buy any alone excepting maybe Awakenings. I only played these because of the Ultimate Edition.
Here's my breakdown:
Awakenings - a large amount of story, some interesting companions and quests, and cool new abilities. Though despite the amount of Alistair you see in all the trailers, he isn't in it but for about a minute and a half. There was a bit of deception on Bioware's part featuring Alistair so heavily in the promos. I suppose it doesn't matter all that much, since Anders is practically an Alistair clone, only with a mage background. Ogrhen is in it though as a playable, and if you like him, you'll enjoy his part in Awakenings.
Witch Hunt - though the companions you get are amusing, it's relatively short, and as others have said, really does nothing for Morrigan's story except possibly set up an expansion for DA2 - I also think this is why Flemeth was really in DA2, since she did nothing really to move the plot forward.
Stone Prisoner - This is really only worth it if you are going to play the game with Shale. Otherwise, the quest to get Shale is not all that long. But if you were thinking of playing the game through again with a different tank character, then this might be a good one.
Golems - this is an interesting story about a deep roads expedition, and if you complete it after awakenings, you can import a save from it into DA2. But it isn't essential, and I wouldn't have bought it on it's own.
Leliana's Song - Another short one, and really only for those who love Leliana. It was alright, but to be honest, her in-game quest shed more light on this event than I needed a DLC for.
Return to Ostagar - If you love the Alistair character, then you might want to get this. It gives some closure to the battle, and had some nice bits with him remembering King Cailan. But it is very short, and I didn't pay for it when it was available to download, even though I did like the Alistair character.
Darkspawn - This was pretty stupid to be honest. If you want to play the final battle as the Darkspawn, and kill all the characters from the game, then you'll enjoy it. But it didn't have a story and wasn't particularly interesting.
Warden's Keep - Short and really only worth it if you want a storage chest badly enough.
The Feast Day stuff - this isn't really a story based thing, but one nice thing about it, is if you are replaying the game, you don't have to worry about hunting down enough gifts to make your companions like you, as this DLC gives you infinite numbers of nice and bad gifts to give people. So if you want to see what Leliana is like if she hates you, or if you want to say whatever you want to Sten, without fear of his being too pissed off, this pack is useful.
Again, all this stuff comes with the Ultimate Edition, and depending on how much they are charging for Awakenings, you might consider it.
