Play the game fresh without letting a forum full of people spoil the goings on of the game.

I still don't have it, but I'm gonna borrow it off a friend and see if I can create a forum game based on people here making my decisions for me. I'm expecting a horrendously gimped character who makes awful decisions at every turn. It could be fun!

Don't look at any spoilers. And the best DLC is Broken Steel in my opinion if you plan on getting any.

Rabidly attack and feed on the modding community.
Well, I'd suggest getting some mods from the Fallout 3 Nexus [http://www.fallout3nexus.com/].
That is what I did, and it makes the game so much more interesting. Thousands of mods to choose from.
But if you do choose to mod it, I'd suggest getting the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM). Makes installing mods so much easier.

That's actually a good idea. And a bad idea at the same time. If you do, I want in on that.

My game, I shall play it as I wish to.
NO! Play it as I wish, I command you!

No using the forward or backwards keys, you must move like a crab.

Stay away from Little Lamplight if you value your sanity.
And there is some really cool and easy to grab gear in old olney. Perfect for the budding adventurer :p [sub][sub][sub]only joking[/sub][/sub][/sub]

I will definitely once I finish the main campaign.

I was going to do something like that myself but I realised after playing it through about 4 times, I've covered more or less everything. But it's still a good idea, I'll be there to gimp your char. to the extreme.

OT: Just explore and have a lot of fun, really. A word of advice though, stay out of Old Olney til you have good armour and weapons. That place will chew you up big time.

The main plot is stupid. The rest of the game is great.

And if you plan on getting any DLC, get The Pitt and Point Lookout.

I do believe the best way to enjoy the game is to stop for a bout ten minutes and think about what you would do were you thrust into the exact same situation and than do it. Also, all the DLC add to the game, but yeah, Broken Steel is by far the best.

And for the love of all that is holy, stay away from Mothership Zeta, Pitt, Point Lookout and Brokensteel are the best.

I have windows 7 and I can't play the game, contacted bethesda support, they say no patch is on the way so windows 7 can run it

I know, I wasn't actually gonna get it but the QuakeCon 2010 pack on steam looked like a great deal and Fallout 3 was in it.
