So, I ask you, the Escapist community, what old-school game have you bought and discovered its awesomeness? I'm looking into Fallout 1-2 as we speak.

Careful with character creation if you're playing Fallout 1 and 2. Especially 2. It can make or break you.

I bought a copy of Grim Fandango off ebay last year, that game was a blast to play. I'm also thinking about ordering a signed copy of psychonauts from the double fine website.

It's kinda obvious I'm a Tim Schafer fan isn't it?

I just bought deus ex 2 weeks ago, and I haven't played it much, but so far it's fun. Although half the time I have no idea of what I'm doing or where to go.

Honestly, I hated Deus Ex when I finally got around to trying it. It wasn't the fact that it was overhyped or anything, but I just...wow, it was boring and it looked horrible and after playing about halfway through it I couldn't stand it anymore.

A couple days ago I started playing the original Fallout, though, and I am having a ton of fun with that. There are some people telling me I wasted my SPECIAL points and that I am doing things improperly, but I don't care. I'm having a blast.

I saw them get released on Steam a couple months ago. It made me amazingly happy even though I didn't actually buy it. I'll probably go and get MDK2 once I have a bit of money lying around. Great, great game.

Both of the Dungeon Keeper games that I've played are amazing. I rather prefer the first one, although that may just be because I've played more of it.
