All these games and no one has mentioned the awesomeness that is Demon's Souls, if you are into RPG's, along with Borderlands and The Orange Box if you want some shooters (Orange box is just a compilation of the Half life 2 games + portal + Team Fortress 2).

I was about to say the exact same thing... how has no one mentioned Demon's Souls? (OK, now two have, but you get what I mean).

No matter what anyone says, don't get Metal Gear Solid 4 unless you've played all the other Metal Gear Solid games. Yes, it's fun, but you won't understand a bit of the story or get any of the references unless you've played the other games.

I would get Heavy Rain, inFamous, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet (but only if you have friends to play it with), Resistance, and Flower.

Get it! It won't cost you much as it was released in 2007, and still it holds up to any FPS title that came out the last year.

Heck yeah. Some of the nicest things are on EVERY console.
If weirdness was a being, it would sound like Mike Patton in this game.

If you liked Final Fantasy VII and/or anime, Advent Children is purely amazing on BluRay... As for games, well, being mostly a PC gamer, can't really recommend much. I'd say 80% of my gaming on PS3 has been between Skate 2 and Brutal Legend.

Um... I hear good things about the God of War series, Heavy Rain is different enough to be worth a look, inFamous is awesome, from the bits I've played of it, and of course there's all the non-exclusive stuff, like Red Dead Redemption (Get this game, it's freakin' amazing)

Oh, and you can get Ratchet and Clank. The duo that almost made me buy a PS3, were it not for the fact that it was about £150 more expensive when I got my 360. Oh, and my massive halo fanboy-ism. (No, I don't own a PS3, but I know a few people who do, and I've at least briefly played most of the decent exclusives.)
