Okay, I'm planning on getting myself a 360 after the woes of christmas are over with.
Now, my Stepdad bought himself a PS3 for the sole reason of playing Gran Turismo 5 (Two years before it was released)and plays nothing else but that, all other times, it's a DAMN good Blu-ray player if I say so myself.
My Mother bought herself a Nintendo Wii for the pure reason of playing Wii Fit, which she used for maybe a month before finding that jogging outside works a hellova lot better, It is now being used as decorative ornament that lights up if you touch it.
As for me, I'm getting an XBox for the pure reason of online Multiplayer after finding a drawer full of great games that I don't want to play again because of seeing everything I can see out of them and realizing it would be nice to own a game I could potentially play for years. What I don't want to find myself doing however is playing Online for a couple of months before ... I dunno LARP'ing (May Buddha Kill *No*....Strike me *No*.... be very very dissapointed in me if that ever happens *Better*)
Now being on a budget, yet wanting the best, I've decided on 120Gb hard drive which leaves me money for one game and the years subscription (the wise choice budget wise as long as I do play all year, There's madness to my method). Left 4 Dead 2 if you were wondering, now here's my problem, I REALLY HATE....
HAATTEE.... War FPS's, Your M.O.D's, Your C.O.D's, Your ......Brothers at Arms (??) Really can't stand them, I can play one for maybe 20 minutes before getting sick and tired of them; Least with Zombies or Super Mutants you get a nash of extra colour and maybe a bit of humour, War FPS's to me seem to be more or less about grim, gritty, SERIOUS WARKILLIN' But when you think XBox Online, those are the games you imediately think of.
So is my investment worth it? I'm certain there are more games out there that boast a decent online community but it's kind of hard to get that sort of information from the games box or Gamespot reviews.
==EDIT(yes, already)==
To make sure it's clear, Yes I am planning to buy more games later on.
