Thanks for the pointers guys, I played for about 3 hours this morning and will probably boot it up soon/later again. I enjoyed what I saw from it and thought I did decently. Just have to learn the ins and outs of how things work.

I was wondering if it was possible over Steam to "pre-download" a game? So I can download all the necessary files/updates etc. before my retail copy arrives for redeeming, so I can save some time.

Also, is there anything I should know about the game before I start? Cheers.

It's a hard game and all the players have gotten skilled at it so don't get frustrated if it takes you more than 80 hours just to get decent at the game (I'm up to like 780 hours or something and I'm still not the best...)

Hats are abundant but don't waste your money on them. People sometimes say they've ruined the game (and I suppose I agree)

The Soldier and scout class is fun to start off with.

I'm not sure hats have ruined the game...but it's certainly a pain in the ass to get those constant "so and so wants to trade" messages and friends requests from people who just wanna convince you to trade.
