I confuse the shit out of people with my music tastes. In addition to 'normal' fare like Radiohead and Primus (already an unlikely pairing), I throw in music like Free the Robots and Blockhead...

Feel free to lynch me.
Why would we do that? Nightwish, Epica, Ensiferum, Sonata Arctica, Symphony X, Sepultera... I'm not seeing anything lynch worthy there.

Now I might fault you for not having other awesome bands that are similar to the ones you currently have on that list, but you certainly won't be catching any flak from me on the ones you have there now.
I've received less than pleasant messages for liking metal in the past, guess I was just expecting more of the same here.
What, here? Ha ha! You can't swing a dead cat around in a circle without hitting 4 or 5 threads about metal on the Escapist [small](don't actually do the cat thing though)[/small]. Not liking metal in a vocal manner is far more likely to garner snide remarks around here.
Nah, this was on a different, though similar subject, forum. Nice to know I won't need to buy a new pair of testicles due to forced castration, though.

I listen to many artists. Look see here [http://www.last.fm/user/MindMelter]. That isn't my whole musical library but it has the bulk of it. I'm one of those more albums than artists guys.

I listen to alot of Clutch and Streetlight Manifesto, though I don't have alot of that on my Last.fm page. I also listen to alot of Beatles and older metal, and I don't have any of that in my Last.fm
Clutch are awesome, but I've not really found anyone else I know who likes them. Ah well.

OT: Me, I love metal in all of its glorious ear-shattering forms. Thrash, Groove, Heavy, Melodic Death, Symphonic, Black... the list is almost endless.

Still, having said that, I do listen to some other stuff. Mostly rock, I admit, but on my iTunes there's a bit of blues, some rock n roll, a wee smattering of bluegrass, a collection of punk and a small amount of folk. So... yeah.

Doujin shit and electronic music with some video game OSTs and lo-fi mixed in.

My current favorites include: Opeth, Fiest, Enter Shikari, Buck 65, Snob Scrilla and Miles Davis.

I think shit Metal is the worse thing in the world.
