So it's Earth Day... what have you done?

I was watching the news here in Toronto Canada this morning seeing all these things about people doing stuff "green" to try and help the enviroment, guess its never too late.

Anyway, personally I havent done anything yet considered "green" but I want to hear about what other people have done to help the enviroment

Well, I'll do my best to conserve water and electricity like I do everyday. Other than that, I don't really have anything planned.

I must be living under a rock. I had no idea of L4D's DLC being released nor that it was Earth Day. Well, I drove my motorcycle on a completley unecessary trip to a local store, bought nothing and drove home. All while my computer was on. That's right, damn you Earth!

If I had knew though, I would've at least turned off my computer.

Um, so far, nothing big. I have a song stuck in my head (hopefully I'm not so old that no one gets this):

Seriously, though, maybe I'll walk to work later on instead of drive.

Funny thing though, lots of people say they turned off their computer, but isnt that what stand-by mode and screensavers are for? So you dont have to turn off ur computer and you can still save energy?

Earth day, huh?

Well, I biked to school (in the rain, yay) and I noticed that the Google logo was fancied up a bit. So that's about it.

Lets see...

I have been up all night with only one or two hours sleep at best, thus my TV and PS2 have never been turned off. I have quite a few lights on, which is admittedly a rarity since I prefer the dark and usually turn them all off; and now I am surfing the web on a PC I never turn off before going back to playing my PS2.

Suffix to say, I have little intention of doing anything for Earth Day. I find the whole thing a waste of time, no offense.
