Lets see...

I have been up all night with only one or two hours sleep at best, thus my TV and PS2 have never been turned off. I have quite a few lights on, which is admittedly a rarity since I prefer the dark and usually turn them all off; and now I am surfing the web on a PC I never turn off before going back to playing my PS2.

Suffix to say, I have little intention of doing anything for Earth Day. I find the whole thing a waste of time, no offense.
OMG I'm not the only one still playing ps2? Awesome. Admittedly I was playing ps2 last night also, not as much as you, but still.

I walked to class (like I do everyday), haven't eaten yet (so no waste), and didn't burn any Styrofoam (which I don't do anyway). Come to think of it, being a college student is pretty green anyway, if you don't count all the solo cups for beer pong and foam ramen noodle cups we go through.

I play my Playstation 2 more then my 360, although technically I am playing a Playstation game. Retro gaming FTW! They just do not make RPGs like they use to.

Nothing. I prefer not to be part of this farce anyways, where people take 24 hours of conserving the planet out of the years past and years to come of raping it. It's a flash in the pan.

It is true that earth day practices are an act, but it's practiced in an attempt to create public awareness.

I'm not doing anything special today

I missed out on my 10.30 pooh. As i haven't relieved myself in that manner today, technically i have saved the water it takes to flush it away. Other than that nothing. Oh, i didn't toast my sandwich today so i guess i saved some electricity as well.

Hmm, lets see, I smoked a cigarette whilst I let not one, but two aerosol keyboard dusters out into the atmosphere, while feeding cows lots of beans and cutting down a few trees. I also chucked my giant slurpee with my Styrofoam fast food containers out into the bushes. Some Indian dude was out there with me crying. It was a pretty cool day.

Oh, and I let my truck idle the whole time.

I hope nobody planted any trees. Trees are bad for the environment - or, at least not as good as one might think. At night they release CO2 when they "burn" some of the sugar they create at day, and the process of converting carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to energy is bound to release the same amount of CO2 in addition to methane when the tree dies, seeing as the carbon is bound to the organic material of the tree in order to create new tissue (leaves, wood). As long as there isn't a direct oxygen shortage, if such a thing could actually happen, planting trees for the environment isn't really all that effective. If you want to help, grow cyanobacteria in a petri dish.

Oh, and I didn't even know it was Earth Day. Not really being picked up on by the media where I live, at least.

Umm... i didn't use anything for an hour, not for Earth, because i didn't have the will to move from my bed or sleep, That counts. Right?

EDIT: I forgot it was Earth day, all i thought of today was that a Subway in my city is giving away free bottle drinks when you buy a footlong.

I burnt more fuel today than I generally do in a week. I also turned on a mass of over head lights in the middle of the day because the light was (quite literally) 3% darker than it needed to be in the print shop.

So. Basically. I tried to make up for everybody else on earth day.

Accidentally of course.

Turned off a lot of the lights here at the office to save a tiny amount of energy. :)
