I am a avid procrastinator myself, I even wrote a paper on it for college, and the best way I've found to deal with such a problem is to plan it perfectly.
See say you have an assignment due on a certain date. Then plan out what you are going to do. How much time do you need and once you figure that out try and see how much you can procrastinate while still being able to get the work done as best you can and get a good grade. I always wait to till the last day before it's due and I've been on the Dean's List every year of community college.
I'm not joking actually, but what advice I can really give you, is plan your work load. take a look at what you have to do and figure out when and how you can get it done while also having moments to go hang out with friends and goof off, because everyone needs a break sometimes, it's just all about planning and keeping track a due dates.
For finals this week, I have three tests, and two papers, so as to manage it, I ordered them in the order they are due and on the day before, I work on them. But that's because I know how much time I will nee, and have planned ahead. That way I'm not cramping it on my plate all at once and panicking.
Just care about your school work, and work your hardest, but if you plan your work load, you can have a life actually and not waste it completely doing work.
